Wireless bluetooth EAR BUDS recommendations

I’ve tried all types and the triple-flanged ones are the best in isolation for universal. The best in isolation I’ve had before is a custom tip for my UE TF10 Pro many years back.

For now, I’ll just enjoy my E8.

By isolation do you refer to isolation for outside ambient noise disruption or isolation for best sound quality?

Most of the iem I have as long as music is on I am isolated from the outside world already

Isolation from ambient noise. The E8 gives good isolation but no fight from my CIEM. AirPods wise, no need to say lah.

Used my E8 a few weeks ago till this morning the second time. Realised that the charging case battery is flat. So wonder whether is there a need to switch off the TW ear buds or not when not using.

Used my E8 a few weeks ago till this morning the second time. Realised that the charging case battery is flat. So wonder whether is there a need to switch off the TW ear buds or not when not using.

There's no 'off' function for the E8, just 'on' by tapping the right earbud and it will automatically turn off and disconnect from your device once it's placed back into the charging case.

Similarly for most charging cases, it'll charge the earbuds once the battery level in the earbuds drops to a certain level after some time of inactivity. This keeps the earbuds fully charged by the charging case will gradually deplete.

Hi guys, I'm going Japan in May and will be shopping for a set of BT earbuds. I want good isolation, and don't mind active NC since I use it in the noisy MRT.

Any recommendations? I assume japanese brands are cheaper over there, like Audio Technica?

never see Audio Technica has active NC leh... the japan brand that i know have NC is Sony..a lot of bad review for the sony BT earbud type with active NC..not sure if you should get it or not..

Being using Sony WF-1000X with noise cancelling feature. So far so good, sound quality is awesome, just battery wise is on a shorter side , you may want to consider it.

I'm thinking of B&O e8, Jabra elite 65t as potential candidates for my needs.

As someone who casually runs, never own any earphones/headphones that are more than $100, I intend to use them with my Samsung gear s3 (while running) and with my LG V20 mobile phone for all other times.

Any suggestions to help me decide the one to get?

Are there modes for the above candidates that allow me to still be able to hear the traffic (for safety reasons when running) and at times I need to fully block out (in noisy place)?

Any other potentials I should be looking at (or wait for their coming release)?

can easily fall asleep using the wf-1000x because I can't even feel it on my ears
rly good when im trying to sleep on my 1hr 30minute bus ride and not wanting to use my custom (abit uncomfy after long use cos of the fit)
initially bought it just for jogging and gyming

Im a E8 owner. I dont use it for running.

But I've tried to see how well it will stay put in my ears. I did a test by vigorously shaking & swinging my head left right up down like a mad man on drugs. It will drop out with the right amount of force/swing. Of course i did it safely such that it drops on a bed for cushioning.

I feel its more of a casual lifestyle true wireless earbud more than for running.

That being said, i have never had it drop out before since using it from jan. Basically sits pretty snug during my usual use routine.

Just my 2 cents.

Very obvious to anyone looking at your sides that there is something plugged in your ears. If looking directly maybe not so obvious I think?

Often I get people wondering whats this and they looked at my direction for a few seconds.

Sometimes I order food with those plugged on got auntie ask me whats that, and if I could hear them, because I turned on transparency mode.

The E8's transparency mode is versatile. You can completely shut off, combine both ambient sounds and music, and of course tune in just to your environment sounds. You can adjust everything via the Beoplay app including tonetouch, in which you can adjust your sound settings such as bass, mids, highs, treble all to your liking.

Today my E8 takes a break while my AirPods takes over.

Sony is using BT to BT from master to slave so there is still a 0.5sec lag. It is a limitation of the technology.
