Would try if can use left side as mono, but too bad can't...
It's ok. I have more than enough tws to serve different needs, like single left earbud use. Else just get Momentum 3 next year :o

Looking forward to your review. Did you get it from Sennheiser website directly? Saw that there is 10% off if get from connectIT through Lazada.

Yeah, got it thru ConnectIT via Lazada. Might not have bought it without the 10% off :s8:

Thanks, do you know if locally still able to purchase Fiil T1x?

You can try carousell? There was a local seller on Lazada but it seems like the listing says out of stock. not sure when it will come back in stock though. :/

Sorry newbie at the earbuds stuff. Am looking for a budget set. Is QCY vs Haylou vs xiaomi, any recommendation which is better?

For me value for money wise QCY and Haylou are good options, especially the newer ones. I've used QCY T5 and Haylou GT1 Plus and both are really good for their price. Xiaomi I've only tested the original Mi Airdots and Redmi Airdots, and wasn't particular fond of either of them.

Thanks Alex! Very helpful. Also, in my search I found a brand called ZNT. In particular ZNT airbuds or ZNT D06-L. Any idea if this is a good brand and how it is compared to QCY? So far with sale I found it on lazada QCY T5 at $26

I've not tried anything from ZNT though, my impressions of their products have always felt a bit... clone-y? haha. like just take some random cheap TWS and just slap on their logo type. But with how good QCY T5 is, and how the price is often lower than a lot of ZNT stuff, kinda see no reason to take the risk. It has decent battery life, good volume output, decent mic quality, gaming mode, and sound quality is good too. It's well liked by even audiophiles https://crinacle.com/guide/tws/

I don't like the stem design like airpods, but some might not mind. Maybe another downside is just using micro-usb charging, but then at this price, can't complain. :s13: Though there is actually another new model T5s that comes with app support, but not available on lazada yet. For local shopping sites, i did find them on shopee. https://shopee.sg/qcy_sg There are quite a number of other models, though have not tried those.

Personally I like the Haylou GT1 Plus a bit more though. Sound is a little more to my liking cause a bit more neutral. But not everyone will like the same type of sound though. Also the earbuds are smaller, and the case is abit smaller and easier to carry around too.

Either way, both punch above their price point to me.:s13:

If you want QCY T5, might as well consider QCY T5S ? T4 and T5S are QCY newer models currently. I remember there is also a T6, which comes which comes with "clip" that will clip onto the eartip.

I'm using the original galaxy buds now. Best all rounder for me so far. Sometimes voice meetings all day, so need to use right and left buds in mono to get max battery life.

Thanks. Will probably go with haylou Gt1 pro since I prefer that look than the long stem look of QCY T5

Just take note though, based on reviews, the GT1 Pro and GT1 Plus will sound different, with the GT1 Plus sounding slightly better. Personally i've only tested regular GT1 and GT1 Plus, but there is a noticeable difference in sound. However, GT1 Pro has a larger charging case with larger battery inside. Though the earbuds size and design are the same.

GT1 Pro has a gaming mode with lower latency, but only AAC codec support. GT1 Plus don't have that, but has aptx codec support, which is nice to have for Android phones. So if sound quality not the main factor, just have to see which one suit your needs more.

The stem type I notice less sturdy inside ears, especially if user exercise heavily. Also if you move your jaws, the earbuds seem to loosen too.
Btw, I understand the QCY T5S will have the "motion sensor", i believe this is something new for QCY.

@Alex. Will you be doing review for T5S too? :D:s12:

yeah. When i was testing the T5 it was not very comfortable for jogging. maybe because the stem portion is weighing it down a little or the stock eartips wasn't very secure. But no plans on trying that though considering the T4 i ordered like 40 days ago is still MIA. :s13:
