Today I go back to ZS APTX HD Bluetooth + senfer 4 in 1...omg.. Until now I haven heard any tws can win this combo here..not even Sony WF-1000Xm3... Is there tws with aptx HD.?

AFAIK, there is no TWS with aptx HD, even the 2 listed in aptx website with HD, doesn't actually have it.

To answer your question, we need to get a bit technical. Support for aptx HD depends on the bluetooth chips they use. Sadly, many manufacturers, even tws costing more than $200, are using the cheapest, lowest end qcc chips (qcc 302x series) which do not have this support.

These are products listed that supports aptx hd according to qualcomm but they are not exactly accurate. Klipsch T5 is using qcc3026 and mpow m20 is using the very common qcc3020. Both do NOT support aptx hd (https://www.qualcomm.com/products/qcc30xx-series)

However, there are tws that supports aptx hd, if they use the premium qualcomm 5100 series chips.

But that ticpod isn't true tws since master slave instead of individual connection it seems
And they went with the normal airpod design :/

Messy things manufacturers can do.

I guess there are programming indicators/flags that manufacturers can turn off or on, even though the bluetooth chip supports them.

In the case of ticpods 2 pro:
aptx HD turned on
TWS+ turned off
ANC turned off

aptx HD turned off
ANC turned on

means LDAC is the best liaoz... I did switch between APTX and APTXHD in phone developer mode to hear the differences... there is a difference... quite a big difference i would say... for some songs i would even rate AAC better then APTX...

-LDAC abt 90% CD quality (testing using SOny WH-1000XM3)

I would prefer aptx adaptive for real world usage. Its able to switch bitrate depending on whether bluetooth signal is strong or weak.

If bluetooth signal is strong, it will stream at high bitrates (though not as high as aptx HD or LDAC). If bluetooth signal is weak like in crowded places, it will stream at lower bitrate, even lower than standard aptx.

Essentially means less or no bluetooth signal drops/interrupts.

The fiil t1x is pretty much the most hyped tws for below 100 currently, safe to assume it is one of the best.

Well, its hard to find another at this price range that ticks so many boxes. Reason why I did not reply immediately is I do not want to be the so-called 'representative' spokesperson for this pair of earpiece and there are many others who bought and felt satisfied with the purchase.

And well, u got the reply and confirmation of a self-assuming person who thinks he is a 'mod' or some 'invited VIP' and feels 'obligated' to answer most posts in this section of the forum (even when he has nothing constructive to advise about other than mockery and sarcasm) and most people who ask question 'owe him a living', it should be a safe purchase.

I just received my Fiil T1X about 8 days ago.Have only managed to get it to work 1 time.After charging in the case,I will leave it out of the charging case without switching it on till evening when I normally go for my run.Immediately on switching on, one of the buds will indicate 0%. This has happened 3 times already. The touch controls on the buds are intermittently hard to activate.Cannot hold & wait for the blue or red lights.Have to keep tapping your finger against the bud & hope it turns on. There is something definitely wrong with my set. I have written to the supplier but I fear the worst coz it's a China supplier & will probably not reply. I may have ended up wasting my money. But I agree for that 1 time i got it to work, the sound quality was really great for the price. Hope those who have it will not have issues with it. I am now contemplating getting the Jabra 75T with 2 yrs local warranty. It's ex but at least I'm assured of the local support.

If u scroll down, there are also people with similar encounters like u. The main question is, why do u want to leave a tws u are currently using out of its charging case, whether its turned off or on. Did u do this for other tws u owned?

When the buds are removed from the case, they turn on automatically. Did you turn them off first? Because otherwise the battery would probably just keep draining.

Also, why not just leave them in the case till you need them? The charging of the buds would automatically cut off once charged.

Yes I turn them off when I take them out of the case. Very strange thing is that only 1 side will be 0% when turning on again in the evening. Only 1 side hmmm, I assume you turned off both the earbuds?

I usually replace the buds into the case since it is both a charger and carrying case.

If you are worried about wearing out the battery, hence not putting it back, worry not because lithium rechargeable has a "good" lifespan of around 5 years even if you don't use them.

If you are taking a short break, like going to the washroom or such, there is no need to place it back if you are going to use it again soon. But if your next usage is like a matter of hours, its better to put it back to the case.

Reason being earbuds lost charges even when its off.

There is a reason why manufacturers package any earbuds and case separately. Or when earbuds and case are packaged together, there is a sticker blocking the charging pins of the buds and case which u need to tear off before use.

Earbuds lost charge even when its inside the charging case after being fully charged. If earbuds and case are not in use for a pro-longed period of time (like weeks or months), earbuds will lost charge and the case will keep charging it back to full, deteriorating the battery of both earbuds and case.

By packaging them separately or blocking charging, earbuds will only lost one cycle and the charging case won't keep recharging them.

Bottomline:
If you are actively using, place them back in the case after use.
If you are not actively using for a long period of time, like weeks, then keep them separately.


Frankly speaking, the surefire assured way to turn off the earbuds (and make them remain off), is to put them back in the case after use. No need to worry abt how to turn off or on earbuds.

There is nothing we can do to prevent battery deteriorating eventually, but as long as its properly used and stored, it should last as long as it should be.
