Firstly, Thank you all for your replies. I guess I'm doing it wrongly.It's based on my 15yrs of handphone useage.My wife likes to charge her hp even at 50%.After a yr,batt can't even last 1 day.For me,I will always wait till 15% then charge.After 2yrs,I can still get 2 days usage per charge for my hp.So like what all of you recommended, just put the buds back into the case after each use.Today I put it into the case 3hrs before my run.Got 100% for both buds.After 1hr run,still had 82% each side so will put into the case tonight. Thanks again for all your help. Appreciate it.

But lol, I am worst than your wife. I charge my hp even when its at 70%. Hp battery these days which can last more than 1 day is rare now. Mine usually don't last one day, probably heavy usage (gaming, streaming, etc).

Lol... as always. New models always pop out without warning. Sometimes even my bunch of tws is still working well, the 'gian' to buy is there when there is things like these for sub-$100 and the price is dirt cheap.

Looks like they streamlined the biggest complaint of t1x..... the case.

Lol. That's why currently I have only sub-$100 tws and pretty much consider them as consumables. So far, I guess I am quite 'heng' as the ones I bought from taobao/lazada china sellers/shopee china sellers/aliexpress have no issues at all.

IMO, there is no best tws, only a tws that meets our needs and at the price we are willing to pay. For something as trivial as tws, there is only this much I am willing to pay now and I just buy, consume, replace with new one when they wear out.

Then they will charge premium prices again.


Currently there is another neat feature that are already implemented in some tws. Forget abt button controls and touch controls. We can now control the earbuds solely using voices to answer calls, control volume, skip/return tracks and even search songs, etc. Qualcomm will have this feature in their new premium chips.

Battery health and life depends on many factors; discharging your battery till it is almost empty then charging it will cause more wear compared to discharging to around half then charging.

Fast charging causes more wear as well, as it also increases the temperature the battery is experiencing.

How much you use your phone is also another deciding factor, a phone that is constantly being used would obviously have their battery drained compared to one that is not. The applications you have installed, if they are constantly checking for updates or push notifications would also use up more battery, which almost all social media applications do.

I am sorry to say that it seems that qualcomm is excluding APTX HD, APTX LL codecs in their latest chips, even the most premium ones. It seems that they want to streamline their codecs to just APTX adaptive and APTX standard.

APTX adaptive cannot output APTX HD's level of bitrate (but still higher than standard aptx)... but its able to switch bitrates depending on strength of bluetooth signal. Its like auto low latency mode in crowded areas.

This seems to be the direction qualcomm is going.

Good thing is ANC will be there as a standard feature, as well as TWM, a better, more seamless earbuds switching technology than tws+.

There is the Aviot TE-BD21F with triple drivers with 8 hours max playtime, no aptx hd, only aptx though.

This I am using. The sound is not very forward. Not much energy in the sound.. but is balanced.

Also its diaphragm will creak when push into ear canal. Definitely is air tight but very annoying.

The diaphragm crinkle you described reminds me of the creative ep630

Lol. This BD21 is very comfortable but is like a Frankenstein with the 2 long end sticking out. The tuning is very Japanese which I do not really fancy.

Not much people using this too and very difficult to sell. I do not advise anyone to get this.

Never a fan of fast charging. Always do normal charging. I also stay far far from wireless charging. The coil is normally above the battery and will heat up the battery. Previous phones that I use wireless charging the battery will always bloat.

I must admit the BT5.0 for the T1X is superb.No drops.Previously on Plantronics PLT 350.BT4 i think.When running pass the same buildings,signal will drop.I also tried playing the T1X loud.No distortion so far.Truly great sound for the price.
