Wireless bluetooth EAR BUDS recommendations

Last time I buy wired earphones from sony and Audio-technica
cuz have fancy colours and design

The sound quality cmi leh. And those days most or all of them use the earbuds design unlike higher end brands which are iems

Of course cannot compare XD but Back then was schooling days… not that much S-11 to get into such things… got simple 64mb mp3 player with earpiece jin happi liao

But I am delighted to see the premium brands pushing for BT earbuds to be able to stream lossless

Afaik, most premium wireless earbuds are tuned for music enjoyment. A Few are tuned for phone calls. In that case, What’s your percentage of Music vs Calls on wireless earbuds?

if you use it for calls quite often, then you might wanna other brands such as Earfun, Soundcore and Soundpeats which place much emphasis on using good NOise cancellation tech and call mics to deliver good call quality

for Noise cancellation, afaik, there are two types
1) ANC (Active noise cancellation) which most of us have come to know

2) phone call background noise reduction. This has several names like ENC (Environment Noise Cancellation), CVC (Clear Voice Capture), RCV (Real Clear Voice)

For controls on ANC and Transparency…this is totally dependent on the company.
for example, SONY, Bose and Sennheiser have their own apps which allow users to have deeper controls on ANC and transparency levels
Since I am a Sony headphone user, the Sony app also come with several preset environments such as TRAIN, HOME, WORKPLACE, which has different ANC level settings.

Multi-Bluetooth connection allows your bluetooth wireless earbuds to be connected to several devices at the same time BUT BUT BUT it only allow audio streaming from ONE DEVICE at any one time.

If you want L earbud to stream music from your phone and R earbud to stream ZOOM calls from your laptop, there is one wireless earbuds product called GENKI in Kickstarter (I am waiting for the shipment)… you can check it out

once I received it, I will do the review and test this “Multi Bluetooth audio Streaming” feature

I got myself 1more Comfobuds pro, not sure have you tested that. I have to say I'm kinda amazed by its ability to pickup my voice even in moving MRT! I haven't listen from the other end yet I'd definitely do that one day but I'm super surprised that they are able to hear me, even with a mask on. I believe they do still hear the background noise more or less but none of my previous sets can pickup my voice even in a moderately quiet office setting.

Sometimes I wonder why ppl still buy branded expensive tws these days. $100, $200 seriously?

Last time before tws, I buy $100 wired earphones by westone and ultimate ears etc cos that is the entry price. Can get for less by other mainstream brands like Sony, philips etc but the quality differs by a huge gap.

haha I bought 1more Comfobuds for $99. Seriously, for nothing but for its highly rated ability to pickup human voice. I haven't listen from the other side yet but yeah at least I have tried speaking over the phone in few occasion that is simply quite noisy that all my previous buds will fail me. People do still spend on one. Especially if it's an Apple user, Airpods Pro is almost no brainer. If I'm using iPhone I would get one too haha.

The Apple connection & integration of Earbuds with their apple devices imo is one of the best in the industry or maybe even the Benchmark.

Hmm that I duno liao but how troublesome can it be to use a apple device with non apple earphones?

Also, u mentioned lossless streaming earlier.... Nowadays personally I heck care liao, maybe due to ageing... Can't tell the difference anymore haha. Last time quite particular about it. Must be lossless format with a good dedicated dap/dac/mp3 player then o/p to earphones. Have a amp as well but seldom use.

Nowadays either mobile phone or pc then to tws and I'm good

I have a soft spot for Sony and sennheiser but they always command a premium. My 12 years old wired senn headphones is still working well but rarely used... Lazy

did you try to remove T5 from your BLUETOOTH settings and re-do the pairing?

usually that helps. anyway, this is quite common with QCY app.
