Superb sound quality on LDAC. Turning on the ANC makes the mid bass sound too warm.

I ordered one set for $37 with extra $10 off using Lazada cashback. Hopefully the lack of high res codecs on this set wont be an issue.
have you received yours? mine shows up on Lazada as delivered but i did not receive it. the speedpost tracking states out for delivery since yesterday.

I opted for Ninja point self collection and already collected mine. Odd that yours is shipped using speedpost. Thought they sld be using Ninjavan instead for home delivery.

You mean for pairing? You got follow the instructions in the user manual?
  1. Earbuds are placed in the case and keep the case open.
  2. Press and hold the button on the case for about 3s. LEDs will be lit one by one from left to right in a circulating pattern.
  3. Select “EDIFIER W240TN” in your device setting to connect. LEDs will blink twice and then turn off when successful.

So far i followed this method and have no issues whatsoever pairing on 2 different phones and 1 tablet that i tried on.

Love pretty much everything about the Edifier W240TN. Decent sound quality, small and compact charging case, actual physical buttons for controls which i have always preferred over finnicky touch controls.

But there is one con to this pair of TWS which i find to be somewhat of a deal breaker. You cannot customize the controls on each earbud individually since the same setting applies to BOTH sides of the earbuds. This means you are limited to 4 functions since you can only do single/double/triple press or press and hold. So lets say if i configure them to do volume up/down + next/previous track, i lose out on ANC control and would have to use the app if i want to change the ANC mode.

Overall, at the discounted price of ard $40, its a very good buy. At usual price of $80, i would think twice mainly due to the control problem i mentioned above.

imo W240TN is the best sounding ANC wireless earbuds for around 80$

That issue with the controls I also feedback to Edifier and hopefully they will improve it in future firmware updates via the App

at least better than Baseus WM03 and WM05.... the default controls don't even have PLAY/PAUSE XD

How much difference is this with LDAC and maybe something like AAC?
There's a little more details and resolution in the highs and mid highs when using LDAC.

The stock tips block out quite a lot of external noise, can don't turn on ANC.

Imo it varies from person to person. As ppl age, their hearing become worse and can't pick up the minor differences so nowadays I dun really care about the audio format or bitrate

Hey can someone recommend earbuds for gym and running? Budget is 75 to 150 SGD, needs to be good build quality and very stable fit, decent noise cancelling would also be great
