Was previously going for ~SGD$76 on taobao but need to engage 3rd party shipping to ship in. But currently the listing is no longer available while there are other taobao sellers selling for more than double the price.

Yea camelcamelcamel did registered Amazon US USD$99 for a day on Nov 18 for the Denon Perl Pro

I think pricing error they wanted to prices that for the perl not pro and priced to pro instead.switfly they corrected it.

Same. The AZ80, is not bad, less coloured than the earfun airpro 4, but good separation and details. It's not as crazy than the pi8, which if you watch YouTube with poor audio, the pi8 give you hear too much of those bad noises that sometime pierce your ear and you keep noticing those extra sound. One thing I don't like is the az80 doesn't sit in the ear very well, feels top heavy and feels insecure like it's going to fall. Earfun very comfortable.

The earfun has stronger bass, low end, the anc feel (vacuum) feel in the ear is very strong so those that don't like anc will not like it. I think will need some time to get use to it. The sound of the earfun is more coloured, will mask over those odd sound that I mention, doesn't feel as fatigue than the other two. Don't have as much soundstage and detail but maybe it's better if you don't listen too many lossless hd audios

Now denon cheaper than az80 i think go for senon more worth

Means there's some processing to the sound (my own interpretation). Sound feels thicker.

If you use headphones before, the DT990 pro vs the HD600 is very different. HD600 feels colored, and not as wide soundstage. For gaming and daily I preferred the dt990 pro.

nope, worse to the worse ship back to denon us not that hard thou . it almost half price here if broken buy another one ba if still like it so much

Tried the soundsamples to AB, not sure if its recording issue, from all the samples I find B&W PI7 S2 the best, not sure why quite alot (like the Pi8) sounded muffled and of a lower bitrate. Is this anywhere accurate?

There can be multiple factors affecting the audio recording.

for your earbuds or headphones, check with the company if it is necessary to allow the headphone or earbuds to “burn in”

afaik, most headphones and earbuds nowadays require little to none burning in… its “hit the play button” right outta box

Want to check with everyone, my understanding of soundstage might be confused with detail.

I've seen countless review mentioning the Perl Pro have the craziest soundstage, and I've also seen review mentioning that the sound/vocal sounded very far, and it's not projected in your ear as much. Is this due to soundstage being so wide?

The AZ80 still has vocal that's closer to the ear, with the earfun airpro 4 being the closest for reference.

soundstage and details (aka imaging) are different things... that's afaik.

A soundstage is like the figurative “space” or abstract space wherein parts of songs are placed. Think about the difference between attending a concert at a stadium versus a backroom at a bar. Soundstage accounts for components such as the width, depth, height, and "shape" of the abstract space wherein a recording is contained.

Details or imaging refers to The location and movements of specific parts of a song, such as instruments. Headphones or speakers with good imaging can portray the left and right placement of instruments with detail and nuance.

for me, Creative outlier & Zen Air earbuds are some of the best sounding under 70$ earbuds for me
