Usually my go-to model will be Beats Powerbeats Pro 2. In-ear wireless earbuds with ear hooks.

  • Outstanding noise cancellation
  • Heart rate monitor integrated
  • IPX4 Rating
  • Earbuds has up to 10-hours battery life. Casing can provide extra 35 hours.
  • Wireless charging case and lots of color options
  • The design securely holds the ear during physical activity
  • Sound is energetic and bassy
  • It pairs easily with iPhones due to the H2 Chip integration
Wah this a little out of budget, saw on shopee it's a little over $300.

Nice to see rosetechnics stuff appearing here :ROFLMAO:

I used their earfree I5 as my daily driver purchased from sam audio on shopee.

For that i5 , the anc is slightly worse than soundcore 4NC but still useable.
Human voices and especially the train tracks underground is stil quite pronouced, but i would have to agree with him to some extent that rosetechnics for some reason, their earbuds is loud which helps to cover up the sound that ANC misses.
Never usd the transparency as it overboost by alot which makes it very sharp / percing for me. I can just hear normally with the same volume playing using the normal mode instead

If anyone is interested in gettin rosetechnics (roseselsa) stuff, especially this mk2...

- The app portion really isn't dealbreaking, especially the update part. It will take a few more days and in my case, 1-2 weeks for the newwer version to be available or downloadable. So you don't have to acutally sideload.
- Checking of battery of the earbuds and case requires you to leave the case open AND then opening the app. If not, it will only keep track of the earbuds battery BUT not the case! Take note of this.
- Maybe check more review on the mk2 or the ceramics line. For my i5, i had to toggle wind mode just to block out those zzzzz wind noises. If wind mode is turned on, ANC is basically turned off.

Modern laptops have a better mic processing than the budget / average earbuds these days.

Using earbuds or essentially any bluetooth device as 2 way traffic (receiving and sending) will always have a worser audio quality. This will be quite apparent if you see for example in teams, when your earbuds switch to "headset" instead of "headphones".

My opinon for cheap
- Any 3.5mm will do

If you need mobility or lazy to plug in plug out
- Any earbuds will work (example, that rosesesla ceramics MK2 just above) and use it as a receiving ( purely hearing sound ) and use your laptop mic instead.

I use wired apple usb-c earpods, around $24 during promo

Check reviews online to hear the mic quality

Note: wire is very thin, do baby it and try not to accidentally tug on the cable

Can also consider 3.5mm version, if your laptop only has 3.5mm port

Wireless mic tends to suck, unless you buy expensive headset, personally think not worth it

Just use the laptop's mic. I run this setup now. Set the audio to my bluetooth earpiece and the mic to laptop. Then do the sound profile and turn on voice isolation. Works great for me in most situations.

I have this one but TBH it's picking up all surrounding noise at the same time. Not sure if I can use voice isolation with it as I've been using to bluetooth earpiece + laptop mic setup for quite some time.

Sound like laptop mic is already good enough for some. Never thought of using laptop mic as I always thought they are terrible. I'll try this and will just hook up my spare BT earbuds (many lying around) and set to audio only. Thanks!

It's working well even for a group meeting within a meeting room. I've had multiple meetings at client site without a proper conference set up but the mic can pickup voice from anyone sitting around a meeting table quite decently. Just remember to disable voice isolation when you want to do group meetings. That's the case with both my previous laptop - Dell and the current Thinkpad.

Ya, laptop mics have improved alot.

As a lenovo / zenbook user, their mic config in their software ain't half bad to me. if your laptop maker has a custom software for these stuff (like software updates, power settings), try playing with the settings.

If you want, can just keep a USB C or 3.5mm wired ones around in case your spare BT earbud spoils or you forgotten to charge :ROFLMAO:

As long as words get across, it works (y)

HAHA SAME. Just put a laptop in the middle of the room and the mic pickup is decently wide

Just asking for opinons.
Have a chance to obtain free item up to a certain cost.

Was looking at the technics AZ80 and really don't have much experience in using the "higher end" earbuds.
Unfortunately, not sure what are the exact mechanics in the free item involved so there is a chance that AZ100 might not be eligible.

IS IT worth to get such expensive earbuds or should i just use it to get other much "usefu" items?

Past earbuds (older one were using wires)
- Huawei freebuds Pro (2020) or the first version (present to myself for a milestone)
- Liberty 4 NC

Current
- Rosesela earfree i5

Fit is key

Bought hi-end tws previously, but the buds were too big for my ears

Whether it is worth it or not, starts with whether it will fit you properly. Only when you get a good seal, then tws have a chance to perform properly

Similarly, you may improve existing tws by trying different eartips
