Like what VSTARCAM claimed and per GeckoSg, it is easy to set up H6837WIP ( plug and play ), but port forwarding still need to be done on 2wire 5012nv for viewing over 3G on above phones and tablets.

Cheers!

You mean you watch on mobile not using the P2PCAM264 application? If P2PCAM264, there is no need for any port forwarding at all.

Can you kindly recommend any android app that will work with our S2 for H6837WIP for audio / speaking & PTZ function? for the IP Cam viewer Pro by Robert Chou, do you know the settings that you can share with me?

IP Camera Viewer Pro only can let u do everything but no sound. MARIX still trying to get them to work on the sound.

host/ipaddress is in format of serialno.dns.gocam.so.

Can I just ask about the H6837WI wireless function?

I'm unable to get the camera to connect to my router. I suspect it's due to my wpa key being max length with all asci characters. Does anyone else have a super complicated WPA key and have difficultly joining the network wirelessly?

Upgrade your firmware to the latest, the limitation (bug) on the WPA key (64 character) was resolved in the latest firmwares.

Something I really cannot understand, there is a P2PCAM264 application, why do you still want to view via mobile browser at such? What mobile device are you using?

If you want to see non-LIVE Streaming, you can actually download their VStarcam Video Surveillance System and add your camera to it and view.

The safari viewing is possible too, you just need to do port forwarding on your router if you want to view via web browser on mobile. Its the same for all the IP Cameras.

how much did you pay? is the image quality good? is 64GB sd card enough for 24hours recording?

I brought it @$218 with doorstep delivery. It's a 720p camera H.264 compression. Image quality is acceptable for mobile device, but its better on ur PC browser.
As for the sd card, i'm using 32GB. Its should be enough for 2 or 3 days I deem.

bro, I think you meant http://youripcamera:rstpport/h264 I tried can't get it to work. Your's can?

You are right on the URL. Thanks!

I used to be able to see it, can't remember which firmware. Now I am using
the H6837WIP, so I don't bother anymore on the H6837WI.

Now I guess your best bet is that MARIX finds their developer soon to develop the LIVE streaming for the H6837WI community so that sound
can be heard.
