hi guys - just bought the Aztech HD IP cam -
I realize a few things -
it takes very long to load - like 30s before you see anything, sometimes just black screen and have to reconnect.
panning on camera doesn't seem to work - using Samsung note2 - swipe and swipe but nothing.
video*** - on my app, all I see is black and white?? I wonder what is wrong. even with max quality setting (which just means 1280x720). and when I use that mode, streaming is extremely laggy - hell every mode is extremely laggy. even when camera is plugged directly to router at home, and my phone connecting to wifi at home.
sound - via the android app, 3 options provided. mute, listen, speak. seems like you cannot do 2 way voice. in anycase, listen option = sounds very jarbled. speak option = doesn't seem to work - when I speak thru the phone, nothing from the camera.
however I do notice audio in/out - will try it out somehow with separate speaker/mic maybe. even tho the device seems to have a crappy mic inside.
motion detection - it does some weird motion detection which isn't that useful. I wish it just lets me move the camera easily and freely.
lights - also, it is bright with blinking blue and red lights. at night, it lights up my living room very clearly. not sure what to say about this. =\
the plus points - which is greatly overwhelmed by the above - the android app nicely recognizes the device via scanning the QR code.
also - asiaone actually gave this camera a 8/10 review lol. cannot believe it.
I have no idea why quality is so bad. is my expectations too high? or technology not there yet? =\ hope someone can give some advice.
