Sometimes being too accurate and truthful does not bring in the sales. Gecko should know.

Lolz. I'm dragged in again... Poor me. In my trade, i do not need truth, its more of reading trends n statistics.

And in this world, products sell if it is tested n proven, so truth about a products helps generate sales. If u know how to promote the benefits of ur product over its shortfall, people will still buy it. If you do not know how to promote your product, no one will buy it. Period.

I am using D-Link DCS-942L & DCS-5222L.

Live view and PTZ controls were previously smooth and free of delay when I accessed it via iPhone 4S using Singtel Mobile.

Recently I moved over to Starhub 4G network using iPhone 5S and the access speed is now ridiculously slow and delayed.

Does anyone here have a similar issue?

Starhubs' network is very slow one. And is Ridiculously slow. The only reason for me to consider signing them is the fact that same price plan, their data plan has the most GB.

What is your home internet service provider? SingNet? I have done side by side comparisons where my home internet is on SingNet, but my mobile devices are on SingTel, M1 and Starhub. SingTel devices gives me the best viewing, followed by M1 and then Starhub. This would suggest that there is a network-to-network speed issue if your home provider is different from your mobile provider.

I use Tenvis IP Robot 3 IP Camera.
their website: Tenvis Singapore - Tenvis Singapore

so far i really satisfied with this camera.
-price is relatively cheap (below S$200)
-pan & tilt
-micro sd slot up to 32gb
-wireless
-easy configuration, only less than 3mins with their ios app/ andoid app or you can set manual as usual
-can configure to automatically upload to my dropbox (i love this feature so much)
-they have distributor in singapore, in case the camera have problem.

Specs seem similar to some of the other cameras, probasnly because they share the same OEM. One feature I like is the built-in speaker, which allows you to talk without adding an external speaker, much like the Dlink DCS-6010. Unfortunately, I find the Dlinmk speaker to have poor audio quality, and I usually can't hear what was being spoken. On the other hand, for those cameras where I added a small USB powered external speaker, I can hear clearly what was being said by the mobile app user.

Full duplex handsfree is always a problem even when I use the internet phone. This is because of the latency issue which is quite difficult to predict and the echo canceller not knowing when to activate echo cancellation. For clear audio and not minding the echo, user's can use EasyN model F3-M187.

I am not talking about full duplex operation i.e. talk and listen at the same time. I am using Robert Chou's IP Cam Viewer app, which allows you to talk and listen but never at the same time. Each time you activate the talk, the listening stop. I am saying that the built-in speaker of the DCS-6010L isn't good enough for words to be heard properly.

Does the F3-M187 comes with a built-in speaker? Anyway, I am trying to move away from 11g standard equipment to 11n. F3-M187 is 11g, right?

I agree the echoing issue is annoying, as I experience it on my Compro. I have to make sure they are far apart. I am still looking around for good and loud enough passive speakers as they are normally not loud enough. Any recommendations? :D

Yes, 11g at 54MBits/s is fast enough for VGA resolution. F3 comes witha built in speaker and the adjustments seems just right so you don't have really loud echo. Just one time echo and then it dies off. Actually, it is a form of feed back that allows you to get confirmation of audio output if you want to put it another way. F3 comes with built in speaker and mic thanks.

The one way audio on the H3-187V and H-137V is difficult on the user as it does not switch automatically with the Android and ios.

Hi,
Yes, plug and play is available from Aztech, EasyN and Vstarcam. The similarities are uncanny. Like brother's and sisters. Maybe from the same father!!:s13:

I am using the same IP Cam viewer pro version too. It is possible to activate both talk and listening at the same time.
