Is this suppose to be a Korean brand? Have not heard of this only recently. But the webpage states 2012 copyright.

Korean wordings only I think.
But I tested it at changeller funan on a iPad mini demo.
Image response very fast on wifi image to me good...need expert here to review first.
Why I say fast because I compare to another 2 brands side by side.

I got time, I go down and see. Very keen to know also if it is that good, looks like WANSCAM cameras. As far as I am aware of for all these PnP cameras, if you set resolution to like VGA, you can achieve very smooth images on the WIFI, but once you go out into 3G/4G, its a different set of story all together.

Domain Registration last year only. New Local "KIMCHI" company on the market, but from their way of selling, very aggressive, I'm so far very keen on their homeplug only. Find the casing very familiar...

Dr_ARCHER, I thought you would have purchased the KIMCHI brand Homeplugs to try?

You mean it's not from Korea but it's printed with Korean words? How strange. Then the actual product is manufactured by Wanscam and not in Korea? Any Sineoji staff here? I would like to know if this is true.

Casing can be OEM, most products u see r Made in China on the market, nothing new, importantly is the reliability of the product n software function.

You mean the OEM is Wanscam? And the housing is so called Gong Mo (公莫)or public mould?
Definitely Wanscam sold them the design + housing. Similarly for EasyN who has a collaboration with LENOVA.

"An original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, manufactures products or components that are purchased by another company and retailed under that purchasing company's brand name.[1] OEM refers to the company that originally manufactured the product. When referring to automotive parts, OEM designates a replacement part made by the manufacturer of the original part." -- Wikipeadia

Hi All,

Anyone facing issues with Aztech WIPC401 IP Camera on Asus RT-AC68U router on the following firmware version?
.205 - no issue, can be access outside via http://wipcxxxx.nwsvr.com/
.339 - cannot access via http://wipcxxxx.nwsvr.com/ but can access via external ip address 124.197.xx.xxx:8081
.371 - both cannot access either DDNS or external ip address

Port forwarding is set as usual. What else did I miss? I am using manufacturer's DDNS.

Please advise. Thanks

I do know some service provider's router having problem with portforwarding. But this is new. Did you revert back to ver.205 to make sure its due to software version?

Thanks, will try tonite roll back to ver.205 and see how.

Just receive an email from Aztech that their DDNS is under maintenance until end of this week.

But I still manage to get in using ip address instead of DDNS url on ver.339
Only this morning, I tried ver.371 then everything cannot already.:s22:
