Wow, seems that MARIX have beefed up their TECH & PC SHOW ONLINE PROMOTION.

Apart from the camera pricing I listed, their MicroSD Card Class 10 is $26,
3metre is $6 online for this period...

Wow... :s22:

Hi...What's the main difference betw T7838WIP and T7835WIP? They both looks very similar. On Vstarcam website, the T7838WIP has a Multistream feature to it. Is that the difference?

By the way, I just tested the demo on my android phone...looks good. What about on PC....is there a website to view this demo? Sorry if this has been asked before..

I asked this question before to Marix and all they replied was: "Main thing is the lens of T7838WIP, better HD lens used."

I'm curious for the answer to.

You can. They have multi-view feature. so it will not be a problem viewing both at same time.

T7835WIP & T7838WIP differences?

In fact I think they are the same. I only open up the base and saw both using same board.

But I didn't open up the top lens area.

But if you ask me, I still prefer the T7838WIP look, T7835WIP look might be a bit "cute". But, pricing of $10 difference on marix website is definitely a consideration for those on budget.

Yesterday, I open up my T7837WIP and compared against my T7838WIP, the board layout is totally difference.

Ok, here's my short review of the SAMSUNG SAMSUNG SNH-P6140BN ip camera.

Started the camera at 5.30am this morning.

Part 1

Strengths

1) Wide angle and has IR - meets my needs.
2) Very easy to setup. No worry of any ip address and setting port forwarding in router.
3) Camera settings, even edited, are retained across different devices like laptop and multiple handphones as you only need to access SAMSUNG server to view them
4) Allows dual band WiFi selection (i.e. 2.4 & 5 GHz)
5) Video movement is smooth with no stuttering. My home internet connection is M1 300Mbps fibre BB with ASUS AC68U dual band router. The camera was set using 5GHz

Weaknesses

1) Cannot record to external storage (NAS/DVR) and cloud
2) Comes with 4x digital zoom
3) Cannot achieve FHD for video (H.264) using home WiFi when connecting camera wirelessly to my router and Note 3. Even using Ethernet to connect from camera to router still unable to achieve FHD. Video is 1280x720 only running in HQ mode. FHD can only be achieved using laptop.
4) Cannot use 3rd-party software to view multiple cameras at the same time.

:D

If it can't record to external storage or cloud, then where does it record to ? kind of defeats the purpose if it can't record to cloud but according to amazon review, one user mentions it records to Samsung servers and if there is no activity, it stops recording :s22:

Just sharing this email I've received today from MARIX... :s22:

"We have started our VStarcam PC & TECH SHOW 2014 Early with great promotion prices on our VStarcam product.

Get your T7835WIP @ $109! T7838WIP @ $119 & T7837WIP-AR @ $139!

While stocks last on our eShop @ http://marix.com.sg/?product_cat=vstarcam"

Dr_Archer... Your T7833WIPX3 is now $189 liao... Cheaper than previous price we MO :s13:

A summary of all the price tat I have saw at the online store.

T7892WIP @ $85
T7835WIP @ $109
T7838WIP @ $119
T7837WIP-AR @ $139
T7850WIP (Export) @ $159
T7833WIP @ $169
T7833WIPX3 @ $189

To those who have purchased from the Eshop, I added 2 x Vstarcam T7838Wip and 1 x 3m power extension cable to cart. If I intend to choose delivery service to one address in Singapore through courier, do I choose option 1)Courier delivery(TA-Q-BIN): $6.00 OR 2) For 2 units delivery: $7.00 OR 3) For 3 units delivery: $10.00?

The unit means number of items or how many location unit to deliver?

*** Emailed Marix sales team and reply was to select 2) For 2 units delivery: $7.00

2 units is $7 correct. Ta-q-bin uses size to measure how much they charge. Single unit box size will b within the price range of $6. Used before so i know they didnt over charge u.

If each location that shld b $6 x 2 liao. U can head over ta-q-bin site n see the rates yourself also. Otherwise if you got your own courier services tat charge cheaper. Do a self collection n ask your courier to go pick it up. :)

Leongws,

Thank U for your email. As explained by geckoSG. 1 piece is $6 for 1 location. 2 piece is $7 for 1 location. Price increase as dimension increases.

We r using ta-q-bin services for local delivery. If you have multiple locations, do make seperate orders instead.

If you have your own source of courier services, do select self collection option n ask your courier to collect it after our sales team drop u an sms that the stock is ready for collection.

Note: delivery services for same day will not b available due to logistic arrangement.

If you r buying in bigger quantity. Do contact us directly.

It is not listed on the supported list, but there is a way to extract the mjpeg path by synology NAS from the camera. If you buy from MARIX, I'm sure they will teach you how. It was listed on their website that it does support.

My NVS-K200 will arrive next week! Gonna test it out as the first batch of mass production model.
