Arcade should have rates ard 960... but unless u change at least SGD1-2000... not significant to purposely go there change...

Thanks. Just found out Changi Recommends' rate is 963. Never use before their currency exchange service. Will give it a try.

No prob... my friend recommend YouTrip card... the exchange rate is almost close to spot rate... so my next trip will change less cash and try to use the card more...

I used Youtrip card to pay for keta last week. Rate was 968. Was surprised Youtrip's rate was quite far off from spot rate at about 985. Maybe only for krw. Other currencies such as myr, thbt, usd and gbp are quite near spot rate.

Spot rate 991. But sg money changer still 960+. Unless they clear their old stock, don't think we can get to enjoy the latest rate.

Ok lah... the rate now is already quite good compared to 1-2yrs ago... even if they give 980... the difference is only 20 Won per 1SGD... for every 1000SGD is additional 20,000 Won which is less than $20... need to change at least $5000 than can see $100 advantage...

I bought some cosmetics using Youtrip at the same afternoon. 2 hours apart. Exchange rate unlikely to change much during those 2 hours.

I have been using Youtrip card pre-covid and my card is expiring end of this year. Have been pleased with their exchange rate but noticed KRW rate was less favorably. That's why I posted the info for sharing.
