Need to dig my Tmoney card out. Not sure if expired.

In any case, is it possible for us to use our credit card for trains and bus fares too?

The T-Money cards have no expiration date.

I am at Sinchon now.
Its definitely much livier here. Almost all shops are opened and lotsa eateries!
If I din need to use the ktx and express buses, I would stay in Sinchon!

Tmoney the card itself will not expire... but the credit can only be hold for 5yrs...

Yup need to dig out mine as well...

i usually spend it all at the end of the trip. just use it to buy snacks at the convenience stores and top up with cash if there's insufficient credit in the card.

Yes... YouTrip will automatically convert your SGD to WON when you use the card...

unfortunately WON is not among the 10 listed currency to stored in the credit... otherwise can exchange some when the rates are good...

Yes and make sure your jacket can take it as temperature is between 5 to 10 degrees but not -ve yet

Not sure you all are aware, actually CC rates now quite good + if using Krisflyer Card still got miles to collect.

Few days back when KRW was 1010, AMEX rate was 1006.14.

MyeongDong is still ok.
I think the tourists made up about 70% of the crowd. There are street stalls but when compared to pre-covid, I think its only 60% lidat...

The almost non-existence independent aka small clothes stores might be the reason that contributed to low numbers of Koreans shopping in Myeongdong.

I was in Sinchon yesterday.
The small individual/independent clothes stores are aplenty and buzzing with people. Possibly coz its the university area, there are lotsa young people there, resulting in some activities going on there too. There was some performance going on there. There were also lotsa tourists there too. The whole vibe is good. I might pop down tmr evening time to look see.
