The difference per sgd dollar is about 8 won..8000won per $1000sgd..which is equivalent to $10 sgd..see if anyone update the USD to own rate in myeongdong and then decide again..

Anw be careful, cos there is a lot of money changer in myeongdong that doesn't change the rate at all..and airport offers the worst rate..

So the real question is - is it worth the S$10 savings by travelling to the Arcade (to change US dollars since it's the best rates in SG), and then travelling to Myeongdong to only this particular money changer (cos the rest are lousy rates) to change Korean won, and only if you change S$1000 to save that miserable S$10. And that is if you change S$1000 or more. Else the time travelling, the convenience... you be the best judge.


PS. I know Arcade usually has the best rates, but I never change money there cos I work the other side of Singapore. Do I drive to CBD there, pay parking, pay ERP, kenna stuck in jam, just to change money at Arcade? Neh.

yea I get your point. This applies to those staying/working east west side.. I stay around central and I had appt at raffles so it's along the way for me thus I changed my cash there. Nonetheless if you ain't changing in thousands you can just get any goood rates u see

it depends on the bank but usually i doubt so. It's best you changed your won first before heading over. lots of shops gives discount if you pay in cash. eg.dongdaemun

Hi I was lost too . If you know where the tourist police booth is, it's on their right side... damn near. If you follow the photos it's one big round.. depends where you are coming from...

Thanks thanks actually i dunno which one is the police booth also. Never been there before. Just use google street view to "walk" down the street but cant seem to find the shop.

For me its easy to go to the arcade to change and i will be staying in Myeongdong anyway hence i guess this will be a better option for me if it offer better rates.. Haha
