The rates are like roller coaster. Is that always the case? :x still need to change 1k. Missed the good opportunity few weeks back. :/ thinking if i should just go korea to change at the money changer at china embassy place.

Most money changers in Myeongdong suck.... Only the embassy one has rates better than Singapore. I posted a pic of the shopfront a couple of pages back. Pls do not simply visit a money changer in Myeongdong thinking it's the same, it's not, most are out to shortchange, the only one that offers high rates is the one at the China Embassy.

Rate today at the Myeongdong money changer mentioned is 850. After nego only get 851 and was very firm even though changed over $20k. :( so it doesnt seem a lot different than in sg.

Rates in myeongdong now 845. It's bad compared to what I changed which is 860.

Anyone got else where in Seoul with good rates?

I'm looking to change SGD to KRW as well, I will drive down to meet you at your convenience. Will change up to any amount that you have.

Got try looking for the one near Chinese embassy ?
Myeongdong a lot moneychangers all different rates try walking around to compare the rates first
