I fear the Carmina Albaladejo we both had in mind, is not the one turning up in the store tmr.
There is, apparently, more than one Carmina Albaladejo.
An elderly one, and a young, nubile college chick that many men (myself included) fantasise about.
As usual, we get the short end of the stick.

Thats certainly less pressure to get a pair on opening day.

I am guessing regular calf/suede shoes start from $600 and shell shoes will start at about $900. Hoping i would err on the high side n do share prices for those of u going down today!

Seems like skoak prices with shipping and GST is already close to $550. I highly doubt they can price at $600.
If it is at $600, then it is quite attractive.

I came in with high hopes for a fair pricing close to online + shipping costs.

But....

Shell Cordovan - 4 models. Price from $2.2 to $2.8k. (WTF??)

Non shell cordovan - >10 models. Price range $700 to $900+

Conclusion : buy online if you are looking for shell. Non shell can consider.

You beat me to it... The prices were much higher than I had hoped they would be.

At these price levels I cannot see how they will still entertain Singapore orders on their official estore..

Better buy shell ones fast before estore rejects Singapore orders... shell carminas are pretty exclusive to estore and not other online retailers.

I think it must be a sizeable amount to make me decide against ordering online!

Price for a carmina shell cordovan shoe is 570 EURO = 854.20 SGD

If you count 7% GST ($60) and shipping (say $100) still $1013.

100% cheaper than $2200 !

A price that will make me hand over my wallet will be around $1200. a slight premium. Not unreasonable.

BTW this is the model selling for $2.2k. Can buy 2 pairs of Shell online.

Carmina e-store still offers free shipping though; which now seems to be a viable option after looking at the markup prices quoted locally. Nonetheless, it's welcoming to notice that Carmina's opening their physical atelier locally. At least, to determine our sizing based on different lasts with ease of accessibility.
