Same for me - potentially may want to pick up a pair of loakes if the discounts are substantial.

Skoab BF sale live.. Many many models on sale. Not quite as steep as odd stock sale but still very attractive!

Hi All,

Does anyone here knows where to buy a pair of office looking boots, high cut ones that are of military quality?

I am looking for something that is very durable. At this moment, only Red Wings have the ready made ones. However, the key thing is to be able to wear with office clothes and not look like a army wannabe.

Just didn't want to attract too much attention either.

Can anyone here advise where can I get such boots?

I really like the high cut. But I am contemplating on the level of waterproofing/water resistant level on the boots itself. Basically I hope to stay dry on a wet day, especially during the monsoon season. My job requires me to be in a shirt and tie and I could not possibly wear SAF issued boots. :s13:

If you are intending on wearing boots with office attire, then brogues are definitely out, and so is that boot.

Urban is right.
Probably the only choice you have, is a pair of balmoral boots, either in black, or very dark brown. No brogueing. And based on your requirement for suitability with monsoon weather, the soles will have to be single dainite.
