Bumping the GMTO. Still looking for 1 more participant to make this GMTO a reality!
1. Arcfire
2. All in a Day
3. anodize
4. ?????
Model: Button shoe (not boots)
Design: Plain captoe balmoral style with plain stitching.
Sides will be like pic A below and not the straight across kind and there will not be broguing. I've confirmed through Lusso that the notched balmoral pattern can be done and likely without upcharge.
Color: Black calf for bottom, Loden suede for top. There will be a centre line where the lace will be as with all button boots but we will use the same suede material so there will not be a contrast there like what you see in pic B. Pic C is the pairing of the 2 materials to give a better idea of what it would look like. Alternatively, if the participants want to meet at Lusso to take a look at the swatches themselves to discuss, I'm fine with that too.
Sole: Preference for single sole with topy. I might want to ask for a bevelled waist thrown in.
Last:Likely to be 804
Pic A:
Pic B:
Pic C:
Pic B pretty much sums up the design of the shoe sans the contrasting centre line on the suede part and the seam that runs on the side of the shoe.
Anyone out that that is keen, let me know!
I'm planning to run it through Lusso if we get enough people on board.
