Just bought a pair of Goodyear welted...should I buy some cream and wax to maintain it?

If you intend to wear it for a long time and want it to look nice and also make the effort to maintain it, then I'd say that the wax and cream would be a good investment.

Anybody has experience with Carlos Santos’s 358 last? Looking to see how that stacks up against the 234.

Got caught in the rain and was fully drenched. What’s the best way to go about drying my leather GYW shoes?

I’ve stuffed it with newspaper and left them in an airy area away from the sun.

Anyone tried mink oil before? Any idea if it would deepen Tan colour shoe?

Should be applying mink oil sparingly. Just a thin layer is good enough and give it some time to set into the leather. That way the colour change shouldn’t be too noticeable, can always try on a small area first

Definitely do! Cream contains more colour pigment to maintain colour of the leather. Wax for gloss and protection against elements. Can also consider a leather conditioner to apply as base layer before putting cream and wax on

what would you guys recommend for removing built-up wax and polish? Other than saphir - would prefer to spend less if possible given that I only do this about once a year.

Clean the exterior with a cloth and replace the newspaper if required. That should be fine

Have a 5% promo code from Patine if anybody is keen. Can’t be used on discounted items.
