Looking for a second pair to alternate with. Currently using AE 5th ave.

Carmina forest last seems to be similar. Any others that are around the $300 range?

Never tried carmina before. Might get a shell pair if they fit good.

Can pop by their store locally to try, otherwise can check styleforum for size comparison cause most of them used ae 5 last as a benchmark

Taobao no fake?

there is basically no fake goods on taobao selling as real. any sellers who selling fake as real will be kicked out in no time, because buyers are not stupid at all.

i have seen imitations (a counterfeit LV bag or Rolex watch, for example), production line drop off/left over (branded T-shirt with small defect, for example), or even things that factory operators managed to "smuggle" from production line. however, the "nature" of these stuffs are always described clearly or obviously. that's the hidden rules. they are never described and selling as official or real stuffs.

That wax is in a 50ml tin at $14. Tangs is 100ml so technically you are paying more, with shipping fees and wait time.

Unfo not everything from Taobao is cheaper, esp for foreign imports. Our local prices are even lower than US btw

Dont forget to get tangs card. Can rebate off each tin abt $2 lol

I meant foreign imports into China, which are then re-exported out like your Saphir lol

yes i know what you meant. sometimes i am just reluctant to go down to orchard. ERP/parking easily additional $5. time and jam in traffic as well. online shopping just a few click away, if i dont mind wait for shipping. hehe

Tangs loyalty card is free registration this month.
Plus they have 12% off. So it will be cheaper.
I'll be getting my saphirs there!

where can I try out Allen Edmunds or Church shoes locally?

How do you guys normally figure out sizing when you buy online? I mean, different shoes will have different fit right? Just wondering how do you guys get it right...

Thx!
