all you need is 2-3 minutes of hard brushing and voila! no more scuffs and scratches

Only 2-3 mins?! more more MOARRRR

Keep on buffing that horse butt mate! :s12::s12::s12:

I really hate the welts/spotting when it gets wet. Had to leave it to dry then use metal spoon or deer bone to slowly get rid of them. So nowadays I will check weather forecast before wearing Cordovan

Hahahah used to get pissed off myself with the welts. But heck i've embraced them. Just cream once in a while to remove the welts.

Ironically I wear suede out now in rainy weather more...due to the hydrophobic coat i put on them :s13:

Siddy

Pls share pics of ur Cordovan S&M paraphernalia :s13::s13::s13:

Just for kicks, currently
1) Horween Shell Cordovan watch strap
2) Barenia/Novonapa Pouch

Watch straps in Cordovan are especially awesome because they don't wrinkle and patinate very evenly.

I have a natural watch strap that is wrinkled badly at the flex points and has all sorts of different patina marks all over, making it look beat up as hell. Which is a different sort of beauty, I suppose.

 Does it realy work that well, your suede shoes does not have any darker water marks/stains at the end of the day?

I also sprayed the nano waterproofing spray on my suede loafers but I still don't dare to wear in the rain.

Do you use normal cream or cream specially for cordovan?

Damm well man. water just beads and rolls right off. Tried both Tarrago and Timberlands. All good but of course must remember to renew the coat once in a while! :s12::s12::s12:

P.S I use reno for general cleaning. But spoon scuffs with the colour appropriate Saphir Cordovan cream

Look what the mail man dropped off today!

Took them out for a spin during lunch. Uppers are soft, virtually close to no breaking in required. The size is a tad big for me, with some heel slip which I think will get worse after breaking in. I think a half size smaller would have been perfect for me.

Guess I'll need some tongue pads. Anyone knows where to get these locally?

Yanko shoes seem to run a little larger than most of their counterparts.

May I know which site you got the Yanko from? Thanks arc.

Just asking for advice, is this normal for the start of 2nd wear? The creases/dry lines lookalike at the toe cap? The vamp area is normal since it happens on my Strand too.
