Not sure about Lobb and Green, I felt the Italian and Jap makers are better suited for my small Asian feet

To be honest I'm still noob to this, these are my third pair of proper dress shoes so I haven't had the chance to explore different makers out there. Only have experience with bally (glued soles though), carmina and these C&J thus far.

The ballys were gift from my brother, a bit oversized but decent fit after putting tongue pads. Very roomy in the toe box. The carminas were half a size too big, again fixed with tongue pads, but I found their rear parts too wide for my heels, so there's a bit of slip. The C&Js fit very snugly, but the first day was really painful on my heels. I'd expect them to be more comfortable than my other shoes after breaking them in.

I'd keep in mind about the Italian and Japanese makers for my future shoes. I only mentioned EG and JL because I really like some of their designs I found online (the EG chelsea oxfords and JL alwyn loafers).

Trial and tested to be of good value, quality and workmanship in this forum. Pricing in the same order.

1. Antonio Meccariello - Italian
2. Enzo Bonafe - Italian
3. Corno Blu - Japanese
4. Yanko - Spanish

All have local stockists too.

Funny enough I have all 4 brands and they are imo ordered by quality correctly as well.

Just 2 pics of how Zonkey Boot Wholecuts held up after some wear (sparsely over a few months), swapping back to denim wear for the next few months, wont be wearing these for another long while :s13:

Lovely signature patina by Carlos Santos. Really stands out with that shine. How do you find the quality of CS shoes? Have been eyeing them for awhile, and they're currently having their Summer Sale. So kinda tempted to try it out.

These are my first pair of CS, havent owned any carminas or meermins, but so far i like the fit and its one of those shoes that havent gave me a blister during the break-in period. Quite happy with them and might go back for another pair.

That's it for the year.... :)

Was just thinking the same thing :s13:
Your turn haha... can't keep this up =:p

This is RTW Argentum by AM. In fact, I got the 1- Decurion I Color Brogues at first but the Chisel 2 last couldn't fit me. UK10 too big and UK9.5 too small. Had to change to Hawkbills last UK10. :s22:

Denim and wholecuts can sometimes look kinda cool together actually.

Nice shoes by the way.

Maybe you can pull it off :D. I think textured leather wholecuts might be better though.
Moreover my denims are raws and are worn cuffed (slightly longer). They will bleed in the rain, abit risky for the limited number of formal shoes that I have.

The bulk of my collection are semi-casual type and they too need to go into rotation heh. :s13:

Hi all. The heel on my 1 year old Allen Edmonds Park Avenue just gave way and came out. Any reputable cobbler to recommend?
