Actually if we buy a small number of such shoes, we still stand to save more than those who buy a large number of cr*p shoes. The latter may be the ones who starve in the end for all you know.
Btw, he is the only one who claims he is starving. The keywords are 'only' and 'claims'![]()
I think there is a general misinterpretation. My main point is not in the savings. But more towards the extension of enjoyment. NO doubt you will have the initial enjoyment of that 2 pairs of really good shoes, but very often, you find that the novelty & "excitement" wears off faster than your pair of good shoes. The point im talking about here is the enjoyment level. And that extends beyond shoes as well.
Imagine buying something that disappoint in some ways, and buying another that disappoint in other ways, over and over again just to save $.
