Actually if we buy a small number of such shoes, we still stand to save more than those who buy a large number of cr*p shoes. The latter may be the ones who starve in the end for all you know. :p

Btw, he is the only one who claims he is starving. The keywords are 'only' and 'claims' :p

I think there is a general misinterpretation. My main point is not in the savings. But more towards the extension of enjoyment. NO doubt you will have the initial enjoyment of that 2 pairs of really good shoes, but very often, you find that the novelty & "excitement" wears off faster than your pair of good shoes. The point im talking about here is the enjoyment level. And that extends beyond shoes as well.

Actually it is true, I am just a piss poor pauper who can only afford to buy shoes from the Interweb.

Not Everyone so rich to afford a pair of Diamond Walker Bespoke shoes.

Please excuse me, I need to go out and beg for my dinner.

Can you dont be so sarcastic? I meant well, okay.

Or it could be repeated disappointment :s13: Imagine buying something that disappoint in some ways, and buying another that disappoint in other ways, over and over again just to save $.

Imagine that happening to a guy who perpetually purchases DW shoes...

The shoe shine kit. All you really need is 1 toothbrush, 1 brush, 1 cloth, 1 tin of cream and/or polish. The rest is buy as retail therapy.

Where did you score the star wax from? Been looking for it after good reviews

Many pages back I saw a post about Bata Ambassador shoes. Where can I find them? Checked out a few Bata outlets but didn't see them selling it. I was thinking of getting a brown pair to try out brown, before upgrading in the future to a more decent pair of shoes if the Bata dies out on me.

I was the one who posted the Bata Ambassadors. I only know Bata at Jurong Point and Vivocity carry this range. Bata at Vivocity is seriously the best Bata outlet, carrying awesome stuff that I've nv seen b4.

I suggest researching on the quality of those before buying though. They are a little pricier than the standard Bata shoes, and if I'm wrong about my first impression, you may have ended up paying more for the same quality but more 'marketing'.

hey man u are really cruel, u just added salt to my huge wound.

That is what happened to me when trying to search for the right spec, pertetually making mistakes with nobody to turn to or who can really advise. I spent a fortune, and still haven recover back from it yet.

And now, you are laughing at me. Tiu.

Let's not attack people's characters or personality when you don't know them that well. Alot of times, it just boils down o what interests you. For someone interested in spectacles, spending $500 is nothing to them but ask them to pay $200 for a pair of shoes and they grumble. Vice versa. It is not a matter of being rich and snobbish.

Aw come on... Isn't it phrased clearly enough as a joke? Chill, dude.

What wound are you talking about? If it is bespoke, you still get a nice looking pair of shoes that you chose yourself.
