Here you go. What you see is what I see too, because I haven't even collected them yet. They came out brighter than I expected (almost leaf/forest green), and we darkened twice to make them less in-your-face.

I would have preferred the split toe run higher (as per SC styling), but it's hard to forecast how a final product will look based on sketches. I can live with this.

Still looks good! So much better than the average split toes, which tend to look incredibly ah pek. Interesting way to do the eyelets. :)

Is that jump for the G&G deco range? Pricing on those are sky high.

Oh, really ah? Cool. So the "pioneer generation" has dibs on something, then? :s13:
For some reason the deco range costs alot more. I don't know about quality difference, I assume the uppers are of a better quality leather if that is even possible by G&G's standards. But I much prefer having it hand welted.

BTW, they are having a trunk show in HK. Thinking of flying over. :s13:

Sales rep at the sole distributor in Paris told me, next level finishing, super duper stitching per inch, laser cut blah blah blah, I stopped paying attention because it required too hefty a budget...

I agree the green is very avant garde, by my standards as well. But I think Ed will be vexed if I ask him to change colors a third time!

I don't read the journal, but would be flattered if described as such. My first pair with him was in... 2011, I think.

Anyone plans to order anything from Meermin?
Like to buy a belt with matching color with my shoes but the shipping cost is really a deterrence at 70 Euro...

Anyway to bring down the cost apart from sharing the cost with others?
Thanks in advance

Unless someone else has the same green split toe derby, he did describe the owner of those shoes as i mentioned.
