I'm not sure but the grain of the leather and type of leather probably makes a difference in the rate of creasing. Are both pairs from the same series and last?

Wholecuts vs oxfords vs wingtips vs loafers might have different severity of creasing just from the way the leather is bounded as well.

nah, the pair I'm comparing is of different brand and make.

I got a lil "edgy" cause the last time I had such instant crease experience was on a used old pair that I haven't worn for long and it started flaking the next moment. Likely some el cheapo synthetic leather pair, that was years back.

Alvin bought boots at $100. Think u got poor service unfortunately. And on excessive creasing, brought up the same observation on this thread too. I really duno is the edetal leather or its the fit w.r.t my feet

Should have. Most common size is 41-42 which is limited instead.

I wear red wings same size as u. The other generic shoes brands like Pedro I wear 43.

But Police hush Puppies I wear 9.

Today I got one pair of 43 n another 44. I think u better go try them.

When I was there no one was there. Maybe ytd all buy liao! Lucky to get two pairs at 200bucks. Would have gotten more if I ho ytd with all my sizes or if I see a color That I prefer today!

Went to edetal website and realized i have gotten the Mountbatten boot (think should be Mountbatten)

Leather cleaned with conditioning. Not the best of condition but heck it is going for $100 for a goodyear boot!

I did politely ask for boxes after they put my pair in shoe sleeves and off into the paper bag, told there were no boxes. Only to find out others have been getting their boxes so got a lil anal about it. anyhow, true, no need to have em boxes but it was good to have.
