Ya bro s3856, waiting for your FR of both. :)

And if ur review is that the herring is better, and you backside itchy again, can I tempted u to order a Loake 1880 (only cost about 15 UKP more than your Loake comfort range) to compare again? :p

So do you guys go to cobblers or rather modern day shoe repair shoes and put on anti slip rubber beneath?

This is a relatively simple job. Any cobbler should be able to do a decent job.

This is very nice!! How's the comfort of the shoes? I'm quite picky on the comfort. I usually but a size bigger and add an extra in-sole. If not, my feet hurts after walking for afew hours.

is it because the shoes you get are non-leather insole? so far, I face similar problem with non-leather insole. full leather insole are really comfortable and you dont need to "bite" the shoe or the shoe wont bite you.

Nope.. my shoes does have leather insoles.. But I still find my feet hurting after 3-4 hrs? (I don't have flat feet). I suspect its because of leather insoles, the arch of the in-soles are not high enough.. So I end up buying this "sports in-soles" to make it more comfy.. wonder if this is normal =:p

possible that your feet is not meant for the LAST ba, like you said maybe you are high-arch foot but the shoe is just made for normal arch. maybe you need to try those comfort shoes like ecco that claim to be more comfortable for feet.

If you have the chance, maybe try a bespoke shoe :)

Hey, need some help here before I buy my Loake 1880! How did you get your size fitted out? I'm scared I would not get the right size (especially since measurements given on the site is limited).

I remember someone posted earlier that Ronbinson sells Loake shoes too. You can go there and try the sizes first..

Omg.. I tried my shoes with the full leather soles at the bottom.. it is damn slippery when walking on wet surfaces!!! Did the moonwalk many times :s13:

I like this, where can we get it?

Anyway, it's better for office-ers to get this. If you are always on the run, should have more enduring shoes ~
