Planning to buy a pair of loafers or double monks for my next show. about 150 ~ 300 would be good? I know of ed, but wanna keep my options open.

Too early to comment on durability or comfort yet but I think both shouldn't be an issue.

Don't understand how to order from Taobao. And it's quite expensive buying Woodlore from Amazon, the shipping cost is too high if I buy only one. Hoping to get it from someone here.

i bought OEM? woodlores from taobao. Exactly the same as the one i got from amazon. But because taobao forwarders charge by weight, it still turns out to be around SGD15+ factoring international shipping.

U say it STILLS turn out sgd15+ meaning u can get same trees at same price from amazon? Do SIC the source (either taobao or amazon if it's sgd15+). Thks!

Actually SGD 15 per pair of taobao shoe trees are not expensive at all.
I have brought back shoe trees bought and delivered in Shanghai, back to Singapore. And I paid about $12.60 for each.

oh ya. These are similar to the woodlore epics that i got from amazon at usd25. The wood feels similar but there is no metal plate and the knob isn't screwed in too well. But it works at just half the price

Assume if I wear US 8 then I would need to get size 40-41? $15 is not bad. How much is the shipping cost? Still don't understand how to use Taobao since I can't read Chinese.

I don't mind starting the MO but I've never ordered from Taobao also. I think 4 pairs should be a good number. PM me if you're keen so that I can work out something.

$15 accounts for the shipping cost to singapore. Item is around $10 and after consolidating, its around $5 per pair of shoe trees.

The edmw taobao thread is pretty comprehensive. I used the official forwarder 4px. The shoe trees weigh around 500g per pair.

Shipping is 43 yuan /1st kg and 12 yuan per subsequent 500g.

And while i'm at it, would it be ok if i use light brown polish on my burgundy shoe instead? Think it will be easier for me to find a light brown polish, as compared to a burgundy one.
