Everything is ok as long as you like it. There is only one question, and it is to yourself. Do you like your shoes in the colour of your chosen polish?

tbh, i prefer having a burgundy colour instead. So am still looking for it, i'll only use light brown as a last resort.
would this work though?

Ed Et Al usually stocks burgundy, or if not just give Mason & Smith a call/email. IIRC, Diamond Walker also has a very wide range of colours as well.

Can anyone suggest a good alternative to saddle soap/renomat? Using it to strip polish build ups off my shoes.

oh ya. These are similar to the woodlore epics that i got from amazon at usd25. The wood feels similar but there is no metal plate and the knob isn't screwed in too well. But it works at just half the price

The ones in the link are varnished wood. But if you scroll around, there's unvarnished ones on the site, they are also slightly more expensive.

i bought OEM? woodlores from taobao. Exactly the same as the one i got from amazon. But because taobao forwarders charge by weight, it still turns out to be around SGD15+ factoring international shipping.

Did woodlore move production to china?
I read on dated styleforum post they said AE are actually woodlore and they are located near AE. My AE shoetree are made in USA and I got them 2 yrs back

I can volunteer for the taobao one but take note that it's going to be my first time ordering from taobao so my understanding is that the shipping to forwarder will be calculated at checkout. The shipping from forwarder will be assessed when they receive it. The cedar shoe trees should be about $20-$25 or so.

Frankly dont see an issue unless u are an iGent stickler. Most people probably don't know the difference between derby and oxfords to begin with.

IMHO, a discreet and well-maintained pair of derby goes better with a suit than a pair of garish and/or poor condition oxfords.

I bought size 43-44码 which is stated to fit shoes with size 44-45. From my experience, this size fits most of my size US9.5 shoes with one exception. So for those wearing us8.5 to 9.5, you could choose to get 41-42

I bought the 43-44 without reading the instructions to size down lol.

Now I've got 2 pairs that are too large for my US10 shoes.

PM me if anybody wants it for cheap, should fit US11/12 EUR44/45 shoes.
