Noted! Interesting dress code n good reason to build the wardrobe as how u did!

In hindsight, I should have made one or two more actual suits first. My existing rotation is great and all, but it's not as versatile as I would like it to be when I travel.

I guess suit jacket can double up as odd jacket but not vice versa?

Oh well, more reason for new commissions then! U have legitimate work needs to get them! Heh

Actually suit jacket and sports jacket look very different.

And it is obvious.

Beg to differ. While sports jacket has connotation of more casual design eg patch pockets or use of more interesting patterned fabric, u can technically tailor matching bottom for that n u still get a suit. Similarly, one could commission a more formal looking odd (not necessarily sport) jacket and that may not look diff from a suit jacket.

Anyway i think this is more terminology n igent speak and yes OT here on this thread which we should take to the other thread if we wish to cont the discussion! :)

Oh I agree. I've always disliked the notion of a "blazer suit", but when you have to travel non-stop(cab, plane, train) for 24 hours, you tend to throw away these notions in the name of practicality. Imagine touching down at CDG with two/three pieces of luggage, your hand-carry, and a garment bag filled with suits to last you for two weeks. Then you're taking a taxi to the train station to catch the TGV to Northern France or Geneva; bearing in mind that some of the transit stations do not have escalators. Having that navy or mid-blue Fresco with patch pockets is gonna save me a lot of space in the garment bag man.

Wanted to ask for you guys' opinion.
It seems the general "men's style consensus" out there does advise that a pair of suedes has a place in a decent shoe collection.
As I am still starting out, am wondering what is your opinion for which style would be best to have in suedes.
I am aware bro alvin has a brown carmina suede oxford
What do you guys think
