Bro. Have you tried any shoes with rain last before?
I was actually hesitant in getting it because i had slight heel slip in my navy wholecuts in Rain. But this pair fit perfectly. In my opinion I've got narrowish feet. But after a good few pairs of carmina, i find rain 8.5 and simpson 9 is perfect. Don't worry about the EE fit. I've asked Betty. ALL their shoes in Rain last are EE. So if you are Ok in a particular rain sizing. You will likely be Ok with the others. Don't worry when the website specifies "EE width comfortable fit". They aren't crazy wide.
I probably got heel slip earlier cos i feel that wholecuts fit a bit looser than other oxfords.

Bah, in that case I should have ordered the U-wings too.

The reason you have heel slip in the navy wholecuts is because shell cordovan has more "flex" than calf leather.

I don't know how to say this. I noticed that for my shoes i would tend to put more weight to umm...the 2nd half of my foot, resulting in all my shoes being out of shape at the little toe area there.

Is anyone like me? If so, must get certain pairs of office shoes/loafers to compensate for that?

Bottom rubber sole/toplift on one of my boots with stacked leather heels is almost worn to the next leather stack. Thing is that it's a combination heel and I'm intending to change the entire bottom/toplift to a full vibram layer but I see nails on the leather portion of the combination. Hence, I'd like to go to a better cobbler than my usual as I doubt it'll be (and rather it not be) a simple strip and re-cement job.

Same heel style as this, bottom vibram layer with leather spliced into the front of it at half depth.

If not I'll make a trip down to town

If what you mean is that the outer edge of your shoe wears out noticeably faster, it might probably be because you are an overpronator.
The only way to correct it is through custom made insoles made by a podiatrist.
Its very difficult to correct
