Also got a pair of trees today from a local seller. Lady was amiable and even insisted I test the size before buying. Got a pair and seems to be unbranded Woodlore Epics or Oem. The wood has the characteristic cedar red hue, knots and smell so I reckon it's genuine.

If you have been eyeing some AS for awhile now , my advice is that you should just get. This price with lasted trees ... is an unbeatable deal. Plus the pound is at an ok rate.
You shouldn't hesitate.

Any comment on Timberland shoes? I wanna buy their Earthkeeper one. Is their leather of good quality? The feel seems different than normal leather but looks like waterproof or water resistant one?

Buying those semi-casual shoes, not boat shoes kind. The model I am looking at are 6447 and 6434.

You could have gotten them, at Taobao for less than $15 as it should be similar ones.
Woodlore ones are U$30, might as well get the original ones for $30

I compared to the woodlore ones le. it's like virtually the same just w/o the badge, down to the bevels in the wood.

On that aside, yea maybe I'll check out Taobao, that didnt cross my mind lol Can pm me the link?

Bro. It's actually quite difficult finding sizing info on alfred sargent.
Most of us have been looking at either the Hunt (109 last) or the Moore (724 last). For a person with average to maybe even wide-ish feet you should prob go with your true size in the 109 last. It looks like a more generous, slightly rounded last. For the 724, it appears more narrow looking with more taper at the toebox area so I'm taking a slight risk with my true size uk8.5. But i feel i have narrowish feet and heels. Ultimately you do need to know your feet. You can try asking Sarah for an opinion and provide her your foot measurements. Though she oftentimes replies "yes, your true size should work for you"
