Is yours from the master line or the GY1? If it is the latter, I would just simply call it a day, unless it is some special upper like shell or you feel it is extremely comfortable and the upper is not too thrashed.

Excellent opportunity to suss out a completely dishonest (or perhaps completely dense) cobbler: The one who will add topy or taps to your rubber sole shoes!

A cheap option is to add topy.

Caveat: No idea about the condition of your sole currently, but it may well cause more harm and instead accelerate the demise of your shoes if the current condition of the sole is 'no longer suitable' for topy. Again, takes a knowledgeable and honest cobbler to help you on that.

The best way to protect it is to bring two floor mats out with you. Lay one in front take a step forward. Lay another one in front. Pick up and repeat.

I am not sure if there is a misunderstanding of terminology here. If your soles are rubber eg dainite soles, then there is no option to topy when it wears off. I believe u will need to resole with another dainite sole.

If your rubber soles refer to 'pre-topied' soles, eg tomir, then upon wear n tear it may be possible to replace or add-on a layer of topy.

That's just what i feel based on how i see it (i own both type of rubber sole shoes) and i am happy to be educated on this.

If you're a young lad making your first steps into the corporate world with a limited budget, don't feel too bad as even Pedro has its place in the market segment, though you could have done better with Bata Ambassadors. At least you're in this thread, salvation is near.

Thanks for giving an honest and non troll answer. I think mine is the 'pre-topied soles'. The description says given a rubber forepart for extra durability. Well I'm guessing it can be topied when it wears off. Thanks for your answers!

Pics of the sole? You're worried about the threads or uneven wear? Normally gyw danite rubber soles we just let it be.

Frankly do whatever you want man. I think a tap is ok if you're anal about uneven wear. At the end of the day you're the one with the extra $180 to stretch on another pair while we're sending ours for resoles.

We plan to do the overseas trunk show starting from 2016. It will be hold in Scandinavia, Russia, Singapore and USA. We have understood that there are lots of diferences between the foot of Europeans/Americans and the Asians. To offer same service including MTO in these country as we do in Japan, we need to develop a new last and prepare fitting sample shoes. We are visiting Oslo on June 5th - 6th and Moscow on June 12th - 13th for fitting survey of this new MTO last, also bringing some shoe samples as an introduction of HIRO YANAGIMACHI. (Hiro)
