Cream then Wax. Buy from Mustafa, Shopping Centres or Mr. Minit.
Don't wear the same shoe every day.

Don't use water repellant unless you are using it on suede shoes.

Shoe tree can buy from Muji, Taobao or even a forummer here (alvinQuah).

Intend to remove the wax before applying another color.

Renomat, if not acetone aka nail polish cut with water (harsh but effective) or medical alcohol (gentler but more elbow grease)

A pic of my humble shoe collection. Just cleaned them up after a couple of months.

Suggest you use a wet tin of neutral wax polish to rub it off if it just a little wax. Renomat works too but it is much harsher on the leather

How does one achieve such a high shine on their dress shoes? Are the shoes polished leather or is it the result of polishing their calf leather?

Thanks in advance.

Shocking as in too cheap or too expensive ?

Shocking that Bata offers welted shoes. Or at least they really look like the real thing.

Clarkes also has welted shoes. Just that there are more 'mainstream shoes brands' offering stuff like that. So unexpected.
