any idea where to get purple laces like these? ive been to bata, aldo and hush puppies and they only got black and brown.
Edwin at edetal has stock of some colored laces, iirc.
As long as your pants aren't jet black, there's always room for brown shoes (and matching belt)!

gambireu,
I have seen the linea maestro models and they looked really good. Fighting my urge to get some.
How was the ordering process? Smooth? They charge euros to your credit card?

HEY guys, sorry to off topic a bit but can recommend matching belts to match my new brown dress shoes? my dress shoes are light brown/bright brown in color, not those dark or dull brown...

Try looking at departmental stores. I saw lighter brown belts at John Little when buying one to match my Rockport shoe.HEY guys, sorry to off topic a bit but can recommend matching belts to match my new brown dress shoes? my dress shoes are light brown/bright brown in color, not those dark or dull brown...

Hey gam,
you got the meermin classic model? the finishing lose to herrings finishing?
I'd honestly say try meermin cos at the $200 price point, you can't get a better shoe than that. Service wise, you'll be impressed by them.

Hey,
I can't tell cos for the classic model, I bought the suede. I only purchased the lines maestro models for the calf leathers and I'm not disappointed. I have Allen Edmonds and most of them say the quality and finishing is equivalent for both brands. I would put AE slightly above herring IMO. But then again it's really hard to measure.

Hey doody,
The loake you got, is it from the 1880 line or the L1 shoemakers line. I think it makes a huge difference.
