U can order the top range Loake 1880 online from herringnshoes. Will cost u 170 UKP, inclusive of shipping. Shipping only takes 3-4 days.

Thanks for the advice! Ended up with a pair of Johnston & Murphys. Will probably invest in Church's in the future!

Anyone bought shoe frm herringnshoes online website before? The shipping charge

Nah...local price are much much more ex for made in England shoes. Plus local u can only get Church (at almost 2x the price) and the lower end Loake. Which brand u have in mind to buy from them?

I'll recommend u to get the top range Loake 1880 at UKP150 from them. Shipping only 3-4 days to reach.

Bought the shoe in UK, not sure how much would it cost if you purchase it locally. You could also enquire and find out if you could be exempted from VAT charge. Shoe looks very top notch despite purchasing the low end ones, Loakes. Comes with shoe horn, shoe polish and a nice catalogue. No regrets buying that shoes, been using it for quite some time. Comfortable and hopefully will last me for a while :s13:

Bally hand stitched shoes vs Church's, which one to go for?

i've checked the prices in both boutiques, both are about $1.2k.
