Same for me, and we are apparently the same size in Vass. Seriously, where did you get these? I must be blind for having missed this pair.

I use insoles from Hush Puppies. The tight waist on the F is really a f**ker for insole fitting.

Btw, what size are you on other lasts? :)

Let me recover from eating grass for a month and maggi mee for a year then I let you know.

Since we are the same feet size, not advisable to share with you. My sincere apologies.

For insole I been using a thin felt insole meant for my loafers. The C & J also require heel sticker padding. Actually the Vass can be better with a heel padding but I rather not put it on the shoe. Maybe a thicker sock.

My dilemma is half size smaller my right feet will be painful. Half size bigger than left feet too loose at certain time of the day.

Btw dun be afraid to cut the insole to fit.

Does that mean you have tried size 41 for the F last before?

Btw, no problem about the non-sharing. I found it already. :s13: Good price btw.

No chance to try 41 yet. Unless you want to lend me yours. What I meant was I need to save up for another half a year or so to buy another shoe.

I hope you would understand why I prefer not to disclose my tailoring sources and shoe buying sources in public. I am not loaded with cash to play bidding war and the tailors are already way too popular with prices keep increasing and waiting times getting longer and longer.

I am never one of the priority customer due to my low purchasing power. It will be a rare opportunity for me to own a nice shoe or piece of garment.

I don't have a 41 though. No worries, I can't afford anything now anyway.

TOLD you guys not to spend so much on upmarket & tailoring already..

End up no $ to even have a proper meal & enjoy the smaller & more fulfilling things in life.

Enjoyment in buying an expensive item can bring you momentarily high euphoria, BUT this feeling wont last long, fade over a short time. On the other hand, buying smaller priced-items over & over again brings more enjoyment due to extension of the enjoyment, albeit at a lower level. This is because although euphoria is smaller, you can keep turning up the level of enjoyment over & over again by spreading your buys on smaller-priced items over a longer period of time. This is the key to lasting enjoyment.

You see, now you got to eat maggie mee torture for one whole year before you can attain your shortlived enjoyment again. Hais.

Actually if we buy a small number of such shoes, we still stand to save more than those who buy a large number of cr*p shoes. The latter may be the ones who starve in the end for all you know. :p

Btw, he is the only one who claims he is starving. The keywords are 'only' and 'claims' :p

Actually it is true, I am just a piss poor pauper who can only afford to buy shoes from the Interweb.

Not Everyone so rich to afford a pair of Diamond Walker Bespoke shoes.

Please excuse me, I need to go out and beg for my dinner.

Hmmm... isn't Saphir Renovateur mink oil based?

Only a little bit is mink oil, got other natural oil like shea butter lanolin etc. Again sound like skin care product. Is a deep moisturiser not for frequent use.

I use the Pedag leather lotion, same function and no need to eat maggi mee.

I second that we can stand to save more $ by getting 2 or so pairs of good leather shoes as compared to repeatedly getting cr*p shoes.
Moreover most will tend to take more care and maintainence of the expensive shoes as compared to the cheaper cr*p shoes, consequently extending the lifespan and look of the leather shoes.

Definitely not. I just think that you can invest in a good thing no prob in that. But no need to be so obssessed till right up to the finest of details. The way I see i think its a bit too much till it gives me the shivers. Brrrrr....
