amazon free shipping nid to spend above a certain amt?

Goodyear is not a brand, it is a type of welting method to join the soles of the shoes.
I am not familiar with Hong Kong.
Ed etal is a local shop (Clarke Quay and Around Bukit Merah) selling Goodyear welted shoes. So you can head down to physcially try the shoes they have. The names like Merlion refers to the model of the shoes
Sorely tempted but I'm not going to spend on business clothes anymore until bonus time.My friend and I will be there around half past 1. See you guys.
Ed et al's RTW line is goodyear welted. I didn't really like the leather from his previous collections, but based on the banner, the RTW shoes are supposed to be one-up. Hopefully, the prices won't skyrocket. If not, it'd be back to Meermin ...

Are Ed Et Al rtw shoes decent? Or are they a waste of money?
I have 3 pairs of Ed Et Al shoes
1 loafer from first collection: Amoy Quee (Workmanship not very good, but decent wear, got it at discount at 2 hundred plus
2nd: Merlion II (Double Monkstrap) Notable improvement in workmanship
3rd: Loafer (One off design, not in the main look book)
In all, I think Ed Et Al's shoes are pretty decent, worth a try, though I have switched to Diamond Walker for custom shoes.
Both worth trying out
Meermin looks good. have not tried it before. Price is decent too
Is the shoe width suitable for wide feet?
Why the switch? Ed Et Al also does customs although the price is a big difference.
After buying 3 pairs from Ed Et Al, I decided to try a different shoe brand, that was when I chanced upon Diamond Walker. Prices are not cheap but allowed me to fully customized what i want, especially with the playing of leather colours on 1 pair of shoes. Was also able to find the shoe width that i wanted.
Also On friendly terms with the people at DW, ie I could just walk into their shop anytime of the day and just chit chat with no pressure of sales and discuss about shoe styles etc. Something I like, talking as friends with no prior appointment required. At Ed, i only had sales transaction, as in I walked in, choose the shoes and buy them. So cant really comment much on that.
Nonetheless, both shoe makers have really up their game in the market recently. and come out with a variety of designs/colours/leather upgrade etc which really works well for the consumers in SG. At least we don't have to spend tons of money buying English/Italian shoes online etc.
Competition is always good for the consumer to enjoy the spoils.

While I haven't been hearing good things about their construction, I wonder if DW replicates shoe designs?
Suppose I have the shoe above, are they able to replicate it? Of course I don't expect them to be welted, prob blake at best.
Where's that from? Looks like Vass but that's not their shoe trees.
I'm not sure his RTW line is goodyear welted, too cheap to be that.
Actually, it may be only his bespoke line that is goodyear welted.
bros thanks!
I'm looking at this Meermin rapello shoes black and am attracted to it.. but sizing wise Issit similar to loake? I suppose sg don't sell them yea.
