Who is keeping track of the participants?

I have invited the legendary Boy Boy to grace the event and share his expertise on buying shoes.

He will be available mid dec. I propose friday 13 after 8pm or sat 14 5pm onwards.

I will demostrate the emergency shine to touch up your shoes in the event some inconsiderate douche steps onto your toes.

Do take some awesome pictures!

Hi guys, I bought 2 pair of Ed Et Al 's RTW shoes and am looking to purchase Woodlore shoes trees from Amazon. My shoe size is 40. What size of the shoes tree should I be getting?

Am thinking of getting this shoe tree: Woodlore Adjustable Shoe Tree:Amazon:Shoes

Many thanks!

I have a pair of size 40s from Ed and using the same shoe tree that you are looking at. A small fits alright for me.

Just for your reference.

Loake Aldwych for sale.

I have a brand new pair of Black Loake's Aldwych in UK Size 8F Capital Last, that my cousin bought from the UK.

This shoe and its maker are quite popular with other forums(styleforum/thekerbau) however, he bought me the wrong colour, so my loss is your gain.

For sale @ S$299.
Pm me or send an SMS @ 90052892.
Collection points can be from Orchard/Raffles Place/Jurong East/Lavender Mrt.

For the pictures of the shoe please refer to the websites below.

Long time no post.

Just found out from Petia that Septieme Largeur (arguably Berluti's rival) has landed on Singapore's sunny shores. Largeur is well known for their patinated shoes and are probably significantly less than Berluti's patinated shoes which go for upwards of 2500 SGD. I'm surprised that the French brand decided to plant themselves here.

From my understanding, shoes are Made in France -- If prices online are anything to go by. They should be around mid 3 to 4.

Address and shop here -- https://www.facebook.com/septiemelargeur.com.sg?ref=ts&fref=ts

So, before my shoes arrive, I'm thinking of purchasing a shoe care kit for them. Am thinking of purchasing the following items from afinepairofshoes.

1) Shoe trees
2) Saphir products - What should I get? I have a pair of black and a pair of cognac shoes.
3) Brushes - Any recommendations?
4) Anything else that I'm missing?

Also, what should I do when I get my shoes for the first time?

Appreciate the kind advice!

Do you polish to high shine? You need reno > cream > wax

If not reno > creme is good enough for maintenance.

Two horsehair brush one black one brown (wax on/off or black/other shoes)

If you dont use fingers or cloth to apply you need a dauber brush for each color cream.

One polishing cloth

Elbow grease

First time, brush away dust, apply reno or cream a couple of layers and let the leather absorb overnight before polishing.

I kopped the suede oxfords.

And just saw this pair of goodyear welted French-made Norwegian leather shoes going for, like what, 180 SGD.

Already have a pair of Norwegians by Alden so not getting.

My Aldens look exactly like in the picture below.
