Maybe you csite like evade123.cm to assess.
They have a shoe size chart where you can print (set to actual size) and trace your feet with socks and provide AE with your measurements for them to recommend the size for the pair of shoes you are interested in

I see...that's pretty useful. They do direct shipping to SG? Been eyeing a pair of fifth avenue for awhile now...

Its the last. Doesnt fit well. Nothing much you can do. I had the same prob with meermin dub monks. It will stretch with wear but albiet a painful process.

same my Meermin double monks was also tight initially and I had to wear thin socks to reduce the pain but after 2-3months (wear twice a week), it stretched and fit very well now

I think they do at around USD40-USD50 per pair.
I'm not too sure if they allow international returns. In any case return shipping wouldn't be free so it's probably SGD30-50 to send a pair of shoes back to States via Registered mail IIRC

Unfortunately i bought them as beaters in mind. So the long break-in time isn't going to work so well. Did the same as you except i put in a pair shoetrees to stretch it out first.

hmm.... what size you normally wear and what size of the hiro shoe you order (uk size).

I wear UK8 and has both olfe and hiro last in uk8. Both olfe and hiro last fit well for me but hiro is abit wider hence not as tight as olfe for my case

I'm a UK7 or EU41. But when I put my pair of meermins alongside my other pairs in the same size they look slightly shorter.

My understanding is that UK7 is EU40 as EU41 is UK7.5 cause i have taken order from Meermin in either EU41 or EU42. Instep play a part too, especially for DM....
I remember i ask for DM from Meermin and they recommended me UK7.5 but in the end I got my DM from llyr UK8 as UK7.5 is too tight for me. So i guess if i were to get my DM from meermin last time i will face the same problem as you.

Guess your feet is somewhere in between in length, that could explain why you have this issue...My 2cents

The UK to EU size conversion is quite tricky. I have worn EU41-43 for diff brands but UK size is consistently 8 for wider shoes and 8.5 for normal width

My sentiments exactly. So thats why sometimes being able to try the shoe is the best solution.

Anybody knows where the cobbler who was located at UOB Centre/One Raffles Place basement has moved to?

Can send your feet measurement to them and they will advice you the sizing. If u have tried loake before you can tell them the sizing that you tried as reference....

Loake is a brand? Tot I saw that in robinsons before...
