Using that pair u quoted fr MHS as benchmark, i would suggest u check out archules shoes. I must have suggested this for the 4th or 5th time on the thread to diff people..

from what I gather

shoes only limited sizes, online but they provide delivery
special days they do have an "openhouse"

Rockport is quite good also.....Wearing this adiprene biz shoes....for like 8 mths liao...still comfy n good condition.
about $150 bah. got my pair for $118....coz old stock.

better than hush puppies....which i used to wear.

I think bros here can tell the difference on the road. We can spot the difference.

True, but the reason i even came here was the result of reading a book that recommends shoes brands like J&M, AE and others for their comfort, quality build and offering of service for shoe recrafting.

I came to these shoes because of the good reasoning of well spent money and good construction that makes sure no more soles break apart out of a sudden.

Looks like a local brand. Their biggest 'strength' to me is the classic designs that resemble something more expensive and that u seldom find at that price point. Somehow other shoes in that price range tend to be of tackier designs.

That is the main reason i point people to this brand when they are on a budget. However, to reiterate, i have no direct experience with these shoes nor seen them in the flesh. Just the website pics. And i dont think one should expect alot in terms of leather quality at that price point. (Construction is cemented soles).

U get what u pay for. While in this case it may seem like an incredible deal (it IS a good deal at least based on the items u will get), I would not read too much into the puffery language on quality and comfort.

And its def looks better than pedro to me.
