V brave of u. Espec for mto. Good luck! :)

how come need to be brave for MTO? It is the same as purchasing from their website except I am dealing directly with pepe on the MTO.

Unless you are referring to the new last. Then yes... saw the picture of the new last before and so far has not yet been tried on a lot of design.

Meermin Group MTO gives you some cost savings, as you will not be charged the MTO cost, as compared to an individual MTO.

If sizes doesn't fit, i am sure people in either SF, ebay or here will be very interested to snap them up, provided the seller don't charge exorbitant shipping rates.

*PS let me know if are letting go the austerity meermin brogue. Cheers!

Alvin, based on your collection, I think you should give Carmina a shot. For the price of about 2 shoes from Meermin's Classic line, or for slightly more than the LM line, you do get a much higher quality shoe.

Yap the MTO from meermin will be my last pair... At least I will get to experience and has a feel of their lm line since the MTO from meermin are made to lm standard, eg gy2

Carmina is definitely in my pipeline...cordovan shell... but next year. My wife noticed the unusual expansion of my shoe wardrobe and is limiting my quota per year... Hehe

i can't decide my first classic meermin black shoes for work. opinions?

Black oxfords wont go wrong if u do not already have a pair. Go for a last that suits your feet: read up about meermin's lasts. They tend to be on the sleek side and not suitable if u have relatively wide feet
