One simple question :

I just bought a pair of brown leather shoes from Rockport recently and I am wearing black or grey pants with black belt.

As I have seen many are wearing brown belt with brown shoes so I am not sure whether it is ok to wear the brown shoe with my black belt?

Appreciate your kind advice, thanks. :s11:

Strict / self-conscious dresser: not ok

Others: whatever, better than having droopy pants

I will only buy brown shoes if I can buy a brown belt of the same material, not just any brown belt.

Easiest way is to wear the shoe and visit taka men's section to choose the closest matching belt.

Dun need as I have taken a photo of the shoe and I have a LV reversible belt but too bad that the brown side is more for casual wear.

A great alternative is wearing pants that dont require belts. Then u can wear any fancy colour shoes u like.

Anyone has any idea where can I find chelsea boots, preferably in suede? Tried most of the major shopping malls around but still can't find any. Hesitant to get it online due to varied sizing on chelsea boots.. :s11:

Bro, will still suggest to wear or bring the shoe out. The colour shown in a photo can be different.

I do not subscribe to the view that one has to match the brown in the exact shade.
Although i find black and brown a very big no-no.

Maybe pants with side adjusters work best.
