Ed Et Al will be having a 15% discount store-wide Tomorrow from 11am - 3pm (one day ONLY).

Sprinted down today. Very limited selection with few sizes left. Frankly, I have been wanting to visit their shop for some time and today was my first time. Although I did leave with a pair of shoes, I wasn't entirely impressed by the shoes on display. Maybe I need to wear my pair first before I pass a second judgement.

I wear a US size 8 shoe but i brought a 9.5 E AE shoe. So don't worry if your following the AE's shoe measurement scale your feet size is bigger than what you wear. As many ppl wearing AE shoes most of them will advise going 1/2 size up due to their cutting.

Regarding on getting from AE website you could consider getting their seconds from their AE website called ShoeBank - Allen Edmonds Factory Outlet as they had a reputation for very strict QC to point that their seconds are very good at 30 - 50% discount.

For shipping to SG side u could to ship your shoes to mail forwarders like comgateway or singpost. As the shipment cost directly from them is quite expensive.

Lastly if you plan to recraft your AE do note there's only 1 shop that i does recrafting of goodyear weld shoes called "edetal" at $180 per pair.

Hope it helps :)

Hey do you mean ordering from the stores under "Available at the following stores"? The website apparently isn't a e-commerce website.

Yup as what patryn33 has said. You may need to either call them or email them the style and size of your shoe. There's other ways besides what i had said.

Like getting it from Ebay. I got mine from Ebay and if your planning on that route you should look at this reddit thread before you plan on buying it from Ebay.

By the way, great nick. I love "portrait of tracy". Like most of the other greats, he died too young
Glad to see another music lover on this forum

Brooks Brothers having their annual sale right now. Some of the shoes that are on sale are made by AE, Alden, AS and C&J. Saw a pair of suede double monks made by either AS or C&J going for 314 USD.

Interesting pair... some kind of double monk spectator. Would love to see the attire to go with that.

The Inteweb wisdom says jeans, chinos, sports coat. I feel a casual suit like linen or seersucker will work too.

Going to wear with a sports themed attire. Safari shirt jacket, pullover sports shirt and denim pants.

Anybody have any experience with Allen Edmonds Cody before? It's on 79 lasts. Any comments on their sizes? I'm wearing Meermin Hiro last with size 7.5.

Went crazy skyping my friend while polishing my shoes...

... What to do with the cracks :s27:...

Will it be wise to remove all the wax and re-polish my shoes again?

Just FYI guys, Kips and Kwik at Bishan J8 no longer offers Topy, reason quoted was there's a lot of fakes in the market. Glad I called before I went down.
