How would Ed's MTO vs Carmina's RTW fare in terms of:
1) leather quality
2) Workmanship
3) QC

In all honesty, both Ed Et Al's MTO and Carmina's RTW shoe ranges are comparable. Well, at least to me. The significant difference is that you get to choose your selection choices and specify the preferences for Ed Et Al's MTO; more capacity for indulgence. Furthermore, if there are any blemishes, you can directly visit the physical atelier to get it sorted promptly. Personally, I find it arduous to find any construction/QC flaws with Ed Et Al's MTO, similarly with Carmina's RTW. To each his own.

Yup, worth exploring Alfred Sargent, Enzo Bonafe, Carmina, Septieme Largeur, Vass, Andres Sendra, C&J and etc; if it reaches the $700 limit.

Sometimes business is like that... When it reaches a point where there are too many customers and too many orders to cope with, and to maintain reputation and also not to turn off customers with long wait time, one can raise the price to reduce the number of customers coming in hereby freeing up one's time and hopefully with that can give some raise in standards on the quality. At the same time making customers feel exclusive (since there is a reduction in the MTO customers)

anyone heard of wingseed? chanced upon this company when talking to a shoe shop owner at queensway, was showed pictures of their resoling job

he said that shukey's craft is getting more and more jialat and showed me pictures of resoling jobs done by both shukey and wingseed

want to check here anyone heard of this shop or do resoling with them before or not
