hey guys,

was wondering whats the purpose of the horsehair brush. Is it really necessary? what do I actually need to polish a pair of shoes. There seems to be a ridiculous amount of products out there

Well you'll need a brush regardless, even the army issues polishing brushes for combat boots lol.

Its needed at the end to help the leather accept the polish evenly into the pores when the upper is heated up by brushing.

Horsehair is just a more premium material (or goat hair even). Reason is not to risk synthetic bristles scratching the more delicate calf leathers or the mirror polish when all you want to do is brush off dust.

Hello mates,

the MO will materialize, just a matter of time. Within June perhaps.

My only concern now is shipping cost, duration and amount of time needed to collect sufficient orders...

Happy weekend all, I will keep you all posted!

Check out dandy shoe care, his patina looks amazing.

Or if you want to support local, septieme largeur's patine looks beautiful online too.

THANKS! It looks great online, just not too sure if the pricing will also be very stiff for recoloring.
