Frankly based on looks alone, I would choose her over TPL. She looks more sincere, more capable of bringing benefits to residents.

while it is good to have rich and candidates with good credentials but hopefully this doesn't erode the trust we have on WP to fight for the commoners. not many of the citizens are rich to afford good education, housing so hopefully these "new" candidates whom perhaps are staying in ivory towers could understand these citizens.

Personally, I think that they should be shifting the balance a little, to include more educated candidates in their ranks. They are currently lacking in economists, medicinal specialists, experts in political sciences, etc, which they will need to play a more active role in the running of the nation. Of course, they should not make the same mistake of losing their ear on the ground, but now that they are in the position to move to the next level..

PAP only got General, Doctors, Lawyers, Civil servant, NTUC executives (run like corporate but proclaimed as unionist) and senior executives from Temasek group of companies.

I meant real people, not paper types , need real people who know what they are doing to make good policies and execute them to intended effect. Didn't we have enough of relatives, yes men, and paper types driving us to the ground already?

Yup, this is true. The rat and roach problem there is very pronounced bcos it's an old estate too. But now miraculously right before GE, the works to seal all the rat holes, roadshows for upgrading improvement works all went into overdrive in that SMC
