Install maintenance tool from Xbmchub.Delete your cache often before any streaming.

hi anyone encounter XBMC on himedia keep crushing? what happen? ver : gotham 13.1 n 13.2 when i restart it can go into the main page after i go setting then black out n hang there.

Try install Xbmc Helix 14 & see if it still hang?

i tried helix 14 straight away give me script error then exit.

You might need to set up advancedsetings.xml. Refer to Kodi wiki page on how to do it.

Nightly Builds are made on a daily basis and contain the most recent changes. These should be considered unstable for daily usage and should only be used for to help us find possible issues to provide more stable monthly builds and in the end a stable final release.

Have you recently installed or enabled addons and problem occurred after that? e.g IPTV... etc

try these:
1. uninstall xbmc,
2. go to "Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc" folder and delete everything under this foler.
3. reinstall back xbmc.

Himedia box is using Realtek chipsets it should work fine with XBMC Helix 14 & the only setback during playback do not use mouse to navigate otherwise it will kick you back out to andriod interface.The bugs yet to be fixed by XBMC.For official XBMC 13.1 or 13.2 video a bit choppy(slow motion)at time for Himedia not sure if other user in this forum face the same issue.

Himedia hd600aii is using hisilicon 3716 chipset, with cortex A9 CPU and Mali400MP2 GPU.

Himedia's realtek model is more than 5 year old and is out of production.

nope didn't do anything to the android box till i wanna watch some movie then i encounter this problem. iptv i done on my note3 gotham 13.2 work well. doing the 3 step do i need to add source etc all over again?

Basically these 3 steps is to do a fresh installation. All the addons will be removed.

Some of the addons will cause the problem you encountered.

My IPTV addons works, but I know the same IPTV addon caused problem on certain box.

but since day 1 i install XBMC all the while never add any IPTV. i only add those repo tht some bro share in hardwarezone(Movie storm, Much movie etc). just so sudden crush.

Can check your Xbmc data under your andriod setting>Apps>Xbmc>data.What the reading for Total,App,data?

normally a fresh installation should work. for hd600aii, after the fresh installation, go to setup set yourself to expert level, go to video-accelaration and disable media codec.
