Oppo Find X6 Pro and Samsung S23 Ultra are similarly priced here, while Xiaomi 13 Pro is slightly cheaper and iPhone 14 Pro Max is the most expensive.

Again, Xiaomi has not optimised its camera software and performs worse than Oppo despite similar hardware.

HW really is no horse run in the chinese fone market during its peak and before kanna arrow by beekok

they literally not "stingy" or like to hold back on giving the best/latest tech on its flagships (unlike XM who always like to give-something-takeaway-something or water down its specs/performances)

they even touted to be china's apple until beekok buay song and sees them as a threat

I remember someone say before that HW among the first to realize or anticipate the potential rise/popularity trend of livestreaming or vlogging so they try to gib the best "optimized" front cam

i mean just look at XM

until today even their flagships front cam still stuck at 1080p

personally i prefer the xiaomi 13 camera lens design (island and flat for all cameras) than the iphone 14 pro design (each individual lens protrudes out).

Price of 13 Pro China looks way more attractive than in SG. Can get a 8+256 for under 1k with current exchange rate, while SG is $1.6k for a 12+256. Can't justify the 50% extra

Other than the main camera, the triple rear camera sensors would be very disappointing if it is true that they are the Sony IMX858. It seems that this sensor is only 1/2.51" in size, which would be a downgrade from the 1/2.0" periscope and ultrawide sensors on the back of the 12S Ultra. Also much smaller than the 1/1.56" zoom and ultrawides on the Oppo Find X6 Pro. Seems like Chinese brands are deliberately trying not to outdo Apple and Samsung in global markets.

Bro, I dunno what you mean. The s23 ultra's zoom is 1/3.52" sensor. Isn't that smaller than the what you said about the XM13U?

Yes, but the S23 Ultra has 10x optical zoom. Anyway my point is, the phones for the global markets have watered down sensor sizes compared to those for their home markets. Which of the 13 Ultra or 12S Ultra's cameras would be more competitive vs the S23 Ultra? It's the 12S Ultra for me.
